Okay as you already know this is not a chapter, but about the recent drunk incident of Suga.

As you all already know that Suga was charged for drunk driving. On 7th August 2024, all army's got to know, that the night before, on 6th August 2024, Yoongi was caught driving after drinking alcohol.

JTBC published a CCTV footage which claimed to capture suga's drunk driving. It captured the moment he crashed into a crub, causing him to fall. It also showed how fast his vehicle was.

Bighit Entertainment and Suga had officially given their statements regarding the incident but after the CCTV footage shown by JTBC, everyone thought that Suga was lying.

Bighit Entertainment apologized for the controversy, so did Suga on weverse. Suga said that he had only one glass of beer before he drove. He was riding an electric kickboard, and the distance was only 500 meter. He also said that he failed to realise that it was phorbited to ride a electric kickboard under the influence of alcohol, even if it is just a short distance.

Bighit said that Suga fell on the road just infront of his house. He was also wearing a helmet, and no one was injured or anyone's property was damaged. But still it was their fault and that they will avoid these kind of controversies in future and will be more cautious.

But their apologies did not change anything! Allegations was put on Yoongi for overlying and trying to downplay the incident. Trying to gain public's favour and fans support to dismiss the situation.

Now the allegations stated, that when Yoongi was found by police, he was near Nine One Hannam, a high-end condo complex and sold. Since it is known that Suga had purchased an apartment in the UN village, an upscale residential area in Hannam dong soul in 2018 and lived there.

The suspension seemed true, and people also thought that Suga and Bighit Entertainment lied about the location. If Suga was near Nine One Hannam, then he was approximately 10-15 minutes away from his house. Which meant he did not fall infront of his house.

People also suspected the distance Suga said he had covered. Even if started on the location seen in CCTV and drove on pedestrian paths, the distance from the bar and the place he fell would be 740m. Following the CCTV route, it's 2.8 km.

Additionally, the area is a big road with 10-12 lanes, which means to get to UN village area, Suga would have to reverse direction or make a U-turn. Resulting in a drive more than 2.8 km. People and haters also claimed that if he indeed was just 500 meters away from his house, then he could have just walked there.

They said that electric kickboard are trickier to handle and need balance. Especially if you are drunk then it is easier to lose control. Then why didn't he just walked his way home? Suga also complained about knee pain.

When Yoongi had a breathylazer test, it revealed his blood-alcohol concentration was 0.227, significantly higher that 0.08% level that warrents the revocation of a driving licence. The exact result isn't revealed so people assumed it to be between 0.08 to 0.2%.

Police thought it was impossible to get a result of 0.227%, after he had only one drink. According to the research for a male of average build, a 0.08% level means 4-5 drinks in a couple of hours. While 0.2% could mean 10 drinks nearing blackout levels.

Under South Korea traffic laws, drink-drivers with a blood-alcohol level of 0.2% or higher, can receive a fine of between 10m to 20m won. Or even a prison sentence of two to five years. Which later Suga revealed that he was fined and his driving licence revoked.
