The first light of dawn seeped through the curtains of the spacious bedroom, casting a soft glow over the room. Khushi Gupta, now Khushi Raizada, stirred awake, her heart fluttering with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. The reality of her new life was beginning to set in.

Beside her, Arnav Singh Raizada lay still, his eyes closed, but his mind was wide awake. He, too, felt a wave of nervous anticipation as he slowly opened his eyes. He turned to look at Khushi, who was shyly peeking at him from beneath her veil.

"Good morning," Arnav said softly, his voice still carrying the remnants of sleep. His eyes met Khushi's, and for a moment, the world outside the room seemed to fade away.

Khushi smiled hesitantly, her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue. "Good morning," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. She sat up, pulling the covers a bit closer around her.

Arnav noticed her nervousness and decided to break the ice. "Would you like some tea or coffee?" he asked, trying to sound casual, though he was as anxious as she was.

Khushi looked at him, her eyes brightening slightly before she shook her head. "Actually, I would like to take a bath first," she said, her voice gaining a bit of confidence. "I'll be ready in a little while."

Arnav nodded, understanding her need for some personal space and time. "Alright, I'll be in the closet," he said, indicating the large wardrobe area attached to the bathroom. "I thought I could choose a saree for you to wear today. It's your first day here, and I want you to feel comfortable."

Khushi's eyes widened in surprise, touched by his thoughtfulness. "That's very sweet of you, Arnav. Thank you."

As Khushi entered the bathroom, Arnav walked over to the closet, carefully selecting a saree that he thought would complement her. He glanced up as she emerged from the bathroom, her hair still damp and a towel draped around her shoulders.

Khushi watched with a mixture of admiration and amusement as Arnav chose a beautiful saree—a soft, peach-colored fabric with delicate gold embroidery. The sight of him carefully considering each piece made her feel incredibly lucky.

"Is this okay?" Arnav asked, holding up the saree for her to see.

Khushi's heart warmed at his gesture. "It's beautiful, Arnav. Thank you. I'll be ready in a moment," she said, taking the saree from him with a grateful smile.

As Arnav stepped into the bathroom to take his bath, Khushi draped the saree as her Lavanya Bhabhi had taught her, her fingers moving deftly to create the perfect pleats. She glanced at herself in the mirror, feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

Once she was satisfied with her appearance, Khushi turned her attention to finding an outfit for Arnav. She looked through his clothes, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the choices. After a few moments of indecision, she spotted a peach kurta and cream trousers that matched her saree perfectly. She smiled, feeling that it was the right choice.

Khushi carefully laid out the outfit for Arnav and stepped out into the main room. The bed had been neatly made, and she couldn't help but think how thoughtful Arnav was.

As she applied a light touch of makeup and prepared to put vermilion in her hair, a hand suddenly stopped her. Startled, she looked up to find Arnav standing behind her.

He gently took the vermilion from her hand and, with a tender smile, applied it to her maang. The touch was soft, and the gesture filled the room with a warm, intimate feeling. He then kissed her forehead, and Khushi closed her eyes, savoring the moment.

Arnav gazed at her shy beauty, feeling a deep connection. They both seemed lost in the moment before Arnav took her hand gently.

"Are you ready to meet the family?" he asked softly.
