ONE DAY IN MY LIFE

Hello, my name is Emma. Today is my first day of joining the university. So I woke up earlier than before and I finished packing my bag and went to the car cause my mom was driving me there. As I arrived there I was so excited and I entered  started to find my dorm but I couldn't find it and then I saw a girl walking towards me and I stopped her but before I say anything she said "what do you want ?" and then I replied "sorry I was gonna ask you if you know where my dorm is." She asked my name I told her Emma and she said " what a coincidence! we are in the same dorm and sorry for how I treated you I was not in a good mood."

I told her it was okay and we walked to the dorm together,then  we walked to our dorm then and unpack our things. After sometime she said " I am going out to meet my friends and have a coffee with them , do you like to join us ?” but I was very tired and I told her to go alone but then she started to beg me to go with her and told me it would be fun since I have no choice I said yes , I told her to wait for so I could change my clothes and I went to the bathroom and I wore something comfortable. then I looked myself in the mirror and said " do I really have to go with her ? but you will be fine."

Then winked myself and went to her and as I stepped out of our dorm I saw her with two guys and I was confused but I didn't say anything, but I keep thinking in my mind " who are they ? Are they friends or both of them are her boyfriends ? " As I was lost in thoughts one them tapped on my shoulder and asked me what was I thinking about and then I told him it was nothing then I asked him "what's your name ?" and then he replied " oh, sorry I forgot to introduce myself I am nick and your name please ?"  He asked " my name is Emma." and the he said " what a beautiful name!" and then I  said thank you and we started to walk to the cafe and found a table an all the four of us sat together and as we started to talk the other boy who was with Sophia he said " since we never met I would like to introduce myself to you and my name is Roy."

I thought he was talking to someone else but he was actually talking to me and when I turn around I saw him staring at me and then I said " Were you talking to me ?" and  he laughed and said " everybody knows me except you." And I replied " I am sorry I thought you were talking someone else and nice to meet you Roy I am Emma." we started talking and laughing and also had fun but since it was late I told them it's getting dark and we should probably get going and we left the cafe and get back to the campus.as we were saying goodbye Sophia and Roy stared to kiss and I was confused but I don't why but I kept my thoughts in my mind and told them good night and went to my dorm but suddenly nick called me and said " hey Emma can we go out for a walk ? " I was going to refuse but since i have nothing to do so I said "ok we can."

As we were walking around the campus garden I asked him if he knows what's the relationship between Roy and Sophia and he replied " I just know a little about them it's just they are couple." And I started to look at him he has a green eyes,curly hair and all the things a girl could ask for and before I know it I was lost in his eyes and suddenly he said "what's wrong Emma ? " 

I quickly pulled my eyes from him and told him everything is fine and since I worea crop  top I was freezing with the cold and he noticed I was cold and he removed his jacket and gave it to me and told me I can give him back tomorrow and I said thank you " can I ask you something? " he replied " of course you can." I asked him about his family and he told he had a little brother and he Lost his dad in a car accident when he was 10 years old and also told me Roy and him are childhood best friends and I was feeling sad  and I said " I am sorry for your loss ."

And as we were saying goodbyes I saw a girl coming towards us she flaming in anger and screaming Nick's name suddenly she slapped nick .

As I stood there witnessing the scene unfold between Nick, his girlfriend, and myself, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with a mix of emotions. The anger and hurt in his girlfriend's eyes, the shock and confusion in Nick's eyes, and the embarrassment and awkwardness in my own eyes.

Before I could even process what was happening, Nick's girlfriend stormed off, leaving me and Nick standing there in silence. I didn't know what to say or how to react. I felt like I had been thrown into a whirlwind of drama and chaos on my very first day at university.

Nick broke the silence by apologizing profusely for what had just happened. He explained that his relationship with his girlfriend had been on the rocks for a while now and he was planning to break up with her soon. He insisted that I had nothing to do with their issues and that he was sorry for causing me any distress.

I didn't know what to believe or how to respond. I was caught in the middle of a love triangle that I never asked to be a part of. But despite the awkwardness of the situation, I found myself drawn to Nick's kindness and sincerity. He seemed like a genuinely good person who was just caught up in a complicated situation.

As we walked back to my dorm in silence, I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that hung in the air. I didn't know what the future held for me and Nick or how his girlfriend would react once she found out we had been hanging out together.

But despite the uncertainty of it all, I couldn't deny the spark of excitement that had been ignited within me. My first day at university had not turned out as I had expected, but it had certainly been an adventure in its own right.

As we reached my dorm, Nick handed me back his jacket that I had been wearing to keep warm. He looked at me with a small smile and said, I hope we can still be friends, Emma. I know things are messy right now, but I value your friendship.

I smiled back at him and replied, Of course, Nick. Friends it is. And with that, he bid me goodnight and walked away into the darkness of the night.

I stood there for a moment, pondering the events of the day and the unexpected turn my life had taken. I had met new friends, faced unexpected challenges, and found myself caught up in a whirlwind of emotions.

As I settled into my new dorm room and got ready for bed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for the days that lay ahead. My first day at university may have been chaotic and unpredictable, but I knew that it was only the beginning of a new chapter in my life filled with endless possibilities and adventures. And with that thought in mind, I drifted off to sleep, eager to see what the future held for me.
