🥀.A/n pov :

This is a mistake.
The worst of all.
The most disastrous of all.
Maybe even the deadliest.
She shift in her place, sweating like hell. Hands clutched the steering tightly, turning back and forth was the only thing she can do at that time.

She inhale sharp breaths into her starved lungs, but she might as well be consuming smoke. She can hear her each heavy breath in that isolated area. Her limbs shake with every move, but the promise she made
beats behind her rib cage with the ferocity of a second heart.

Smoke surrounded the area as it was hard for even to identify a person in that dark dense.

" You can hold up for me right?

" just a bit, we are almost here. "

" You can't be away like this. "

" I c-can't. It's g-getting h-hard. "

" I c-can't b-breathe. "

" Just a little bit, please endure it. "

" I c-cant."

" W-WATCH OUT! "

🥀.The painter :

Uhhhhhh..
It was a nightmare.
A deadly nightmare.

Scanning my surroundings I witnessed only the darkness covering my room like a sheet. Seemed like it is haunting me. These empty rooms are eating me alive. I need to get out these from my head.

Sweat trickles down my forehead inspite of the chill air con temperature. My heart lobs around in my chest, pumping erratically. A low heat sparks in the pit of my stomach, my mouth drying as the burn descends between my lungs.

My head drops low between my shoulders, tension threading
throughout my overused muscles.
Only fear locks my muscles together and crowds my mind.
My limbs shake and my pulse buzzes in my ears, despite my mental attempts to remain calm.

I took slow yet calm breathing trying to forget  that nightmare considering it as a bad dream. Though it isn't meant to be forgotten I have to control my thoughts over it.

I can't let it overpower my mind.

In the midst of these all my phone rang. Reaching out for the night stand I picked up the call as it was from Arina.
A gush of sigh washed over me.

" Hello! "

" Morning Ms. Painter. "

" Morning! "
I bet she understood my voice.

" Why are you sounding low?
Is everything ok? "
She asked.

Taking  a heavy sigh I tried to sound calm which I know I can't.
