An aloof boy comes across a book in a hospital waiting room. He soon discovers that it is a diary kept by his very popular classmate who reveals to him that the person is secretly suffering from a fatal pancreatic illness.

PING KRITTANUN
He is a high school student who is well-liked by those around him, due to his positive personality, but he is hiding a big secret: he has a terminal pancreatic disease and has been told he only has a few months left to live.
Throughout the story, it is said and shown that Ping is a rather rambunctious person by nature which he admits to. It is compounded by his rather immature attitude and actions towards the world around him, having to constantly be quieted in the library he worked at. He is a very delightful, outgoing and kind person and has a good conscience as shown in the movie (not wanting to make his friends worry, changing Meen o a completely different person, and always doing the right thing).
Though he typically displays his rather air-headed side in most situations, deep down, Ping is revealed to be incredibly scared of dying, which he chose to reveal to Meen alone. Despite her illness, Ping still remained determined to live his life to its fullest.

MEEN NICHAKOON ''ME'' ''Classmates who know my secret''
A plain-looking high school student who often wears a listless expression, according to his fellow classmates. His hair is jet-black and styled in a way that often occurs when males let their hair naturally grow and not style it, adding to his overall common and simple appearance.
At the start of the story, he is introverted, anti-social, and listless. He hardly portrayed any emotions in the first half of the story. As the story continues, however, it is shown that he is a coward and is afraid to have any relationships as he doesn't want him, and others to get hurt by his actions, but at the end of the story, he learns how to be more honest with his feelings. He seems kind and grateful to others. Throughout the story with the help of Ping, he learns how to express himself and his emotions, and to open up to other people. He learns how to care for people, love and be loved by people. It is during this change where he starts revealing his true feelings for Ping.

LEON BROCCO
One of the main supporting characters. He is the best friend of Ping Krittanun.
Leon which is half German half Thai can come off as cold, aggressive, and even quite stubborn to most people, especially towards people whom he may find suspicious or doesn't trust altogether, which is shown through his interactions with Meen. He often makes futile attempts to convince Ping that he shouldn't be hanging out with Meen, despite repeatedly being turned down by him. Though he may appear cold and aggressive at first glance, Leon is known to be sweet towards close friends like Ping.
