The morning sun filtered through the tall windows of the pediatric center, casting a warm, golden light over the newly furnished rooms. Khushi walked through the main hallway, a sense of pride and accomplishment swelling in her chest. The center was finally coming to life, and it was everything she had dreamed of—a place where children could receive the best care possible, where their health and happiness were the top priority.

As she passed by the reception area, Khushi noticed the new nameplate being installed: **"Raizada Pediatric Center: In Partnership with the Gupta Family."** The words made her pause, a soft smile spreading across her face. It was a tangible representation of the union between their families, a symbol of the bond that had grown stronger over time.

“Khushi!” A familiar voice called out, breaking her reverie. She turned to see Arnav walking towards her, his usual confident stride accompanied by a warm smile that was reserved only for her.

“Arnav, you’re here early,” Khushi remarked as he reached her, her heart fluttering slightly at the sight of him. Even after everything they had been through, just seeing him had the power to brighten her day.

“I wanted to make sure everything was set up before the staff meeting,” Arnav replied, his eyes meeting hers with a soft intensity. “And I wanted to see you.”

Khushi felt her cheeks warm under his gaze. Even now, after their engagement, he had a way of making her feel like the most important person in the world. “Well, you’re just in time. I was about to check on the staff room to make sure everything’s ready.”

“Mind if I join you?” Arnav asked, his tone light but with an undertone that suggested he was eager to spend any extra moment he could with her.

“Of course not,” Khushi replied, her smile widening as they began walking together.

The pediatric center was a reflection of Khushi’s passion and dedication, and now, with Arnav taking on the role of CEO, it also represented their shared future. As they moved through the halls, discussing the day’s agenda, there was a comfort in their conversation—a rhythm that had developed between them, born from months of working side by side and supporting each other.

They reached the staff room, and Khushi opened the door to find it already set up for the meeting. The long table was neatly arranged with documents, and the chairs were positioned perfectly. Everything was ready.

Arnav walked around the room, inspecting the setup, while Khushi went over the day’s agenda in her mind. She glanced at him, catching the way the light played across his features, highlighting the sharp angles of his jaw and the soft curve of his lips. For a moment, she let herself indulge in the simple joy of watching him, her fiancé, the man who had become the center of her world.

“Is something on your mind?” Arnav asked, his voice pulling her out of her thoughts. He had noticed her watching him, and the teasing glint in his eyes told her he wasn’t going to let it go easily.

Khushi shook her head, a playful smile tugging at her lips. “Just thinking about how lucky I am.”

Arnav’s expression softened, and he crossed the room to stand in front of her. “I’m the lucky one, Khushi.”

There was a pause, a moment of stillness where the world outside seemed to fade away. Arnav reached out, his fingers gently brushing against her cheek, a touch so tender it made her heart swell. “I don’t know what I’d do without you,” he murmured, his voice low and sincere.

Khushi leaned into his touch, feeling the warmth of his hand against her skin. “You’ll never have to find out,” she replied softly.

Arnav’s eyes darkened with emotion, and he leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. The simple gesture, filled with love and promise, made Khushi close her eyes, savoring the moment.
