"rabbit ears!" naeun exclaimed, putting up her fingers into a peace sign, as miyeon put both of her index fingers above naeun's head, making it look like rabbit ears.

"give me rabbit ears too min!" miyeon exclaimed, as nicha agreed, despite being a bit reluctant. "big smile!" the staff chirped, as she snapped a photo. after receiving confirmation the photo was done, miyeon and naeun immediately rushed to check on it, and seeing the end result, were more than satisfied.

seeing the two of them fawning over the picture, nicha hastily paid four more dollars to get two more pictures.

"how's the burger baby?" miyeon asked the younger girl, who had tomato sauce all over her face. "yummy! so good!" naeun replied, her voice muffled from chewing.

miyeon couldn't help but smile at the sight, patting the younger girl's head, at the same time wiping away the tomato sauce from naeun's face.

seeing the loving scene in front of nicha made her imagine her future with miyeon all over again. this meant a lot to nicha, after all, she didn't have the best family.

seeing nicha deep in thought, miyeon took her milkshake and put it to nicha's lips. "try this milkshake babe. it's awesome!" nicha quickly snapped out of her thoughts, sipping the milkshake, before giving miyeon a little peck on the nose as thanks.

"min, can we bring back some macdonalds for the other children at the orphanage? i'm sure it'll be nice to have a treat once in awhile." miyeon asked, feeding naeun a nugget, which she gobbled down. "okay sure, i'll go place an order." nicha replied, telling the front desk about her massive order which left the staff looking for her manager.

they were now in the car, on the way back to the orphanage. the car smelt like macdonalds, with the entire car boot filled with it.

nicha turned to see miyeon and naeun. naeun was sound asleep in miyeon's lap, while miyeon was dozing off.

nicha looked to see the gps on her driver's phone. there was still half an hour to go.

gently, nicha pushed miyeon's head so that it was leaning on her shoulder, and that made miyeon stir a little. upon seeing nicha's reassuring gaze, she let out a little smile and went straight back to sleep comfortably in nicha's shoulder, while nicha leant her head slightly against miyeon's, just thinking about anything or everything as the car ride continued.

nicha ended up having to carry naeun, support the weight of a clingy miyeon, as well as carry bags of macdonalds.

the children were overjoyed to see the macdonalds, their squeals of delight enough to wake naeun and miyeon up.

bading goodbye to naeun, nicha wrapped her arm around miyeon as they watched the kids gobble down their food heartily.

"we should do this more often hm?" nicha nudged the older, who was too busy staring at the overjoyed faces of the kids. "hmm? i think so too." miyeon replied, as they just stayed for a bit longer to feel the joy of seeing so many happy kids.

they got back into the car and nicha drove off, not telling miyeon anything, other than it was a surprise. miyeon just went with the flow and didn't say anything.

the ride was silent, both of them just listening to soft, the lovey type of music.

at last, the car stopped. they were in the middle of a peaceful little park. immediately, miyeon recognized it as the one they went to when they just met, and was upset with her boss.

nicha flashed her a soft smile, leaning over to give miyeon a peck on her cheek, before unbuckling miyeon's seatbelt for her. "let's get off yeon." miyeon nodded in response, following nicha out of the car.

nicha took miyeon's hand in hers, as they walked over together, miyeon, just wanting to run over to see what she had installed for her. in the grassy area where they laid last time, there was a table with a large cardboard on it.

the cardboard was decorated with fairy lights, and had a bouquet of flowers leaning against the cardboard. it was dahlias- nicha's favorite flower. she often called miyeon her dahlia, and that was also the song nicha sang to ask miyeon to be her girlfriend.

the cardboard was decorated with pictures together, and there were even cute doodles of two little puppies together.

miyeon was astonished by the sight. she looked at every single picture, recalling every little detail, as she felt nicha's hand snaking around her waist to pull her closer.

looking at everything as a whole just made miyeon more emotional, as she started tearing up. she tried to wipe away her tears, but more just kept coming.

nicha quickly realised it, turning miyeon to face her as she caressed miyeon's face with one hand, stroking her hair gently with the other, as she kissed her tears away. it was kind of salty, but it just felt like the moment to do so.

no more words were exchanged, as the two girls just smiled in bliss, their lips meeting each other for a kiss.

unfortunately, air was something that humans all needed so they broke apart minutes later, practically breathless.

"thank you so much nicha. i love you with all my heart." miyeon whispered. they've been through so much together, and nicha quite literally meant the world to her. she never wanted to leave her. she wanted to be with nicha for the rest of eternity.

if she didn't meet nicha, her life would have been so much more different. meaningless and boring. nicha was like the sunlight in miyeon's life. she brightened it. she was essential for miyeon.

"i love you too miyeon. so much. thank you for being alive." nicha replied, sitting on the grass, and pulling miyeon down with her, straight into her arms. miyeon leant into nicha, as they just enjoyed each other's company, stargazing for the rest of the night.
