The café was busy with its usual morning activity. Jimin and Yoongi were back at work, slipping into their familiar routine after the New Year’s celebration. Jimin leaned over the counter, his eyes twinkling as he gazed at Yoongi, who was expertly brewing coffee.
“You know, Yoongi,” Jimin said with a giggle, “I was thinking about how amazing it would be if we had a little garden together. We could grow herbs, and maybe even some flowers!”
Yoongi looked up from the espresso machine, a soft smile playing on his lips. “A garden, huh? You’re really planning our future now. I like it.”
Jimin grinned, leaning in closer. “Well, it’s never too early to dream, right? I can already see us, planting tomatoes and basil, and you getting your hands dirty while I’m just there to supervise.”
Yoongi chuckled, shaking his head. “You and your grand plans. I suppose I’d better get used to the idea of spending my weekends in a garden.”
Their sweet conversation was interrupted by the jingle of the café’s door as a group of people barged in. Jin, who had been in the middle of arranging some paperwork, gave a startled look but quickly retreated to his office, mumbling about having things to do.
Jimin and Yoongi exchanged a quick, amused glance before returning their attention to the new customers. Jimin flashed his charming smile as he approached the counter. “Good morning! What can I get for you today?”
Meanwhile, Yoongi slipped away to the storage room to fetch some supplies. Jimin was busy taking orders when a girl walked in, her eyes lighting up as she recognized him.
“Hey!” she called out, her voice carrying a flirtatious edge. “Aren’t you Jimin from college?”
Jimin’s smile faltered slightly as he tried to place her. “Uh, yeah, I am. Hi… How can I help you today?”
The girl leaned in closer, her gaze lingering on Jimin. “Wow, it’s been a while! I didn’t know you worked here. How’ve you been?”
Jimin’s nerves kicked in. He knew that Yoongi didn’t like it when other girls flirted with him, and he could already imagine Yoongi’s reaction. “I’ve been good, thanks. Um, I have a boyfriend now, so—”
Before Jimin could finish, the girl cut him off with a wink. “Oh, really? That’s great! But you know, there’s always room for friends, right?”
Jimin’s face turned a shade of pink, and he cast a nervous glance towards the storage room. “Uh, yeah, sure. But my boyfriend—”
Just then, Yoongi emerged from the storage room, carrying a box of supplies. He set the box down on the counter, his eyes immediately narrowing as he noticed the girl practically leaning on Jimin, her hand resting on his shoulder.
Yoongi took a deep breath, trying to maintain his composure as he approached the counter. “Hi there, what can I get for you?”
The girl turned to Yoongi, flashing a bright smile. “Oh, hey! I was just catching up with Jimin here. We used to be classmates!”
Yoongi’s smile was tight, and he grit his teeth slightly. He could see the way the girl’s hand was still on Jimin’s shoulder, and it took all his restraint not to snap. “Right. Well, let’s get your order.”
Jimin was practically frozen, his eyes darting nervously between Yoongi and the girl. He tried to speak but ended up just stammering. “Uh, Yoongi, this is—”
The girl, not picking up on Jimin’s discomfort, leaned even closer to him. “So, Jimin, how about we catch up more after you’re done here?”
Yoongi’s patience was wearing thin. His smile became more strained as he tried to remain polite. “I’m sure Jimin would love to catch up, but I’d appreciate it if you took your hand off my boyfriend's shoulder before I decide to cut your arm off.”
The girl’s eyes widened in surprise, and she quickly removed her hand, taking a step back. “Oh! I didn’t mean to cause any trouble.”
Jimin let out a relieved breath, finally finding his voice. "Calm down, love."

The evening had settled in, and the apartment was quiet after a busy day at the café. Yoongi was lounging on the couch, scrolling through his phone with a look of mild annoyance. He was in a mood, annoyed that Jimin had left without telling him where he was going. He’d been tapping his foot impatiently, waiting for Jimin to return.
As the door finally creaked open, Jimin stepped inside, holding a bouquet of white roses in his hands. He was visibly nervous but determined to make things right. The soft glow of the hallway light illuminated his face, and he wore a warm, apologetic smile as he looked at Yoongi.
“Hey, baby,” Jimin said, his voice gentle. He approached Yoongi with the bouquet held out. “I wanted to apologize for earlier. I didn’t mean to make you upset. I got you these.”
Yoongi looked up, his irritation momentarily forgotten as he noticed the bouquet. His expression softened, and he raised an eyebrow. “White roses? You really went all out this time.”
Jimin nodded, stepping closer. “Yeah, I thought they might cheer you up. I’m really sorry for leaving without saying anything. I just needed to do something special for you.”
Yoongi took the flowers from Jimin’s hands, their fingers brushing briefly. Before Yoongi could say anything more, Jimin leaned in and captured Yoongi’s lips in a deep, passionate kiss. The bouquet was forgotten as Yoongi’s initial surprise turned into a reciprocation of affection.
Jimin’s kiss was tender, filled with the apology he couldn’t quite put into words. He held Yoongi’s face gently, his height allowing him to tilt Yoongi’s chin upward as their lips moved together. The kiss was sweet and reassuring, a promise of how much Jimin cared.
Yoongi’s initial surprise melted into a soft smile against Jimin’s lips. He wrapped his arms around Jimin’s neck, pulling him closer. When they finally pulled apart, both of them were breathless and smiling.
“Okay, okay, I get it,” Yoongi said, his voice soft and slightly teasing. “You’re forgiven. But you know, next time, at least let me know where you’re going.”
Jimin grinned, his eyes twinkling with affection. “Got it. I just wanted to make up for earlier. And also, I love you.”
Yoongi’s eyes softened as he looked at Jimin. “I love you too. And I’m glad you came back with these.” He gestured to the bouquet in his hands. “They’re beautiful.”
Jimin laughed softly, brushing a strand of hair from Yoongi’s face. “I’m glad you like them. I just wanted to make sure you know how much you mean to me.”
Yoongi leaned into Jimin’s touch, his expression full of love. “You don’t need flowers to do that. But I appreciate the gesture.”
Jimin’s smile widened, and he wrapped his arms around Yoongi in a warm embrace. “Well, I guess I just wanted to show you a little extra love tonight.”
Yoongi snuggled into Jimin’s embrace, resting his head against his chest. “You’ve definitely succeeded.”

Meanwhile, Jin was in his office, his frustration boiling over. The sound of his angry voice could be heard even through the closed door.
“No! I told you multiple times, NO is the answer!” Jin shouted into the phone, his face flushed with anger.
Namjoon, who had been sitting quietly at the desk, looked up with a worried expression. He could hear the distress in Jin’s voice and knew something serious was happening.
As soon as Jin ended the call, he slammed the phone down on the desk and let out a deep sigh. His shoulders were slumped, and he looked utterly defeated. Namjoon moved closer, placing a comforting hand on Jin’s back.
“What’s going on, baby?” Namjoon asked softly, his voice filled with concern.
Jin’s composure broke, and he buried his face in his hands, tears streaming down his cheeks. “Joon, I-It's J-Jimin."
