Percy's POV
Time, like the ocean, is an ever-changing current, a force that shapes the world in ways both subtle and profound. As a god of the Ocean Depths, I was not just a lord of water, but also a master of the unseen forces that governed existence itself. My powers over Time, Fate, and Destiny allowed me to see the threads of history, to know the moments where the tides of change could be altered, and where the heroes of the past could be saved from their fates.
It was in these moments that I would act, bending time and space to rescue those who had been marked for death, bringing them into the fold of my Sea Squad, an elite force that would stand as guardians of the world against the darkness that lurked beyond the mortal realm. This is the story of how I gathered some of the greatest heroes from across history, forging them into an unstoppable force that would protect the seas and the world for centuries to come.
The Siege of Troy
The Trojan War was one of the most famous conflicts in history, a war that had seen the fall of a great city and the deaths of countless heroes. But there was one man I had come to save a long with those destiny interfered by Olympus: Nestor, the wise king of Pylos, who had fought bravely for the Greeks. He was a man of wisdom and experience, qualities that would be invaluable to my Sea Squad.
I found Nestor on the plains of Troy, surrounded by the chaos of battle. Despite his age, he fought with the strength and skill of a man half his age, his leadership guiding the Greek forces to victory. But I knew that his time was running out, that he would not survive the final days of the war.
Stepping onto the battlefield, I called out to him. "Nestor, King of Pylos, your wisdom is needed far beyond this war."
Nestor turned to face me, his eyes narrowing as he studied me. "Who are you to speak of such things?"
"I am Perseus, god of the Time and Fate and the Master of Deep, and I offer you a chance to continue your journey, not just as a king, but as a protector of the seas and the lands. Join me, and your wisdom will guide a force that will defend the world from the shadows that threaten it."
Nestor considered my words carefully. "I have seen much in my life, and I know when a god speaks the truth. I will join you, Percy."
With a wave of my hand, I bent the fabric of time and fate, transporting Nestor away from the battlefield and into the depths of the ocean, where he would lend his wisdom to the Sea Squad.
The Battle of Thermopylae
The hot, dusty air of ancient Greece was heavy with the scent of blood and sweat as I arrived at the narrow pass of Thermopylae. The clash of bronze on bronze echoed across the mountains as the Spartans fought valiantly against the overwhelming Persian forces. King Leonidas stood at the forefront, his eyes burning with determination as he and his 300 warriors prepared to make their final stand.
I watched from the shadows as the Persians swarmed the narrow pass. It was clear that Leonidas's fate was sealed; history had recorded his death as a moment of heroism and sacrifice. But I had other plans for the Spartan king.
As the Persians closed in, I moved swiftly, the power of Time bending to my will. With a wave of my hand, I created a barrier of water around Leonidas, freezing the moment in time. The Spartans stared in awe as I approached their king.
"Leonidas," I said, my voice carrying the weight of the ages. "Your death here is not necessary. I offer you a new life, one where you can continue to fight for the honor of Sparta, but with a greater purpose. Join me, and you will be part of a force that will protect the world from the shadows that seek to consume it."
