The intercom makes somewhat of a bell noise, and Monokuma appears on the screen. "It is now nighttime! Some areas are off limits, and you will be punished greatly for any attempted entry! Nighttime ends at 7:00 AM! Good night, students!"
And the screen goes black. We all agree to go to our rooms. I'm sure we're all exhausted from searching and probably emotionally tired as well. I make my way to my dorm and take into account whose room is next to me. I'm at the very end of the hallway, so there's only one person. That just so happens to be Bakugou. That's just lovely.
I open the door to my small bathroom and step in. I close the door and go to lock it, but the door doesn't have a lock. I don't pay much mind to it, but it's a little irritating. What if I had company or something? It's not like there'll be anyone from the outside anyway, but if I somehow make a friend here under these circumstances, this might be an inconvenience.
Suddenly, I heard a loud bang. I sprint out of my room and go to Bakugou's. What if he's hurt? I frantically knock on his door. I hear an annoyed groan, and Bakugou opens it. Hurt people don't usually vocalize their irritation like that, so he's probably okay.
"What the fuck do you want, shitty hair?" He asks. He's still being an asshole too, it looks like.
"I heard a noise. We're kind of in a killing game, you know? I got a little worried." I explain, "So what was that noise?"
He rolls his eyes and reluctantly motions me to go inside. He points at his bathroom. I tilt my head in confusion, urging him to explain.
"It’s fucking locked."
Okay. Simple enough. But I thought these bathrooms didn't have locks. I try to open the door. It's... Yeah, it's locked.
"Hm. That's weird. Mine doesn't even have a loc-" I explain before I'm rudely interrupted. Monokuma appeared out of thin air, and both Bakugou and I jumped.
"That is correct, Eijirou! Boys' bathrooms don't have locks! Only the girls' do!" He explains, and Bakugou’s face contorts with anger. I'm confused, but I realize that he's pretty much calling him a girl.
"The fuck is that supposed to mean?!" Bakugou yells. Monokuma looks unfazed. Maybe even a little amused. "Puhuhu! Did I ruffle a tail feather? Don't worry, dear Katsuki! Though it'd be funny, you are not in our system as a girl! We had some...construction issues. Your bathroom door doesn't fit the frame properly, and needs lifted up to open!" Monokuma explains, before easily lifting the door slightly and opening it.
"Now, students, it's time I go to sleep! You guys just single - well, there's two of you - double handedly ruined my strict sleep schedule!" Monokuma says, sounding angry, before disappearing once again. Bakugou just stares at the empty space in bewilderment.
"He... He does that sometimes." I say. Bakugou just closes and reopens his defective door before telling me to get out. He was a little rude with it, but honestly, I don't blame him. If he wants to use his own bathroom in peace, he can.
As I walk out of Bakugou’s room, I hear a door somewhere down the hall click. I can't exactly locate where, but I don't pay much mind. Maybe they were hungry and needed a late night snack or something. I walk into my room, and I remember what I was doing in the first place. I need a shower.
I wash the gel out of my hair, and I get out and dry off. My full costume thing isn't the most comfortable for sleeping, but I don't have any pajamas. Just seven outfits in my closet, and they're all the same. I put on the pants and thats about it. The rest would be really uncomfortable to sleep in.
By the time I get into bed, it's 11:30. There's probably going to be an announcement when nighttime ends, and I'll wake up to that. Surely.

"...has been discovered! After a certain amount of time, which you may use however you like, the class trial will begin!" I wake up to Monokuma's voice. Still groggy, I look up at the screen. It takes me a moment to realize this is not, in fact, the morning announcement. I look at the time. 8:42. I process the words I just heard. Class trial...
I remember the handbook. This must mean someone already died. I jump out of bed and throw on the rest of my costume, not even bothering to gel my hair up before attempting to open my door, but before I can get there, Monokuma appears in my way.
"Ah ah ah! You have an established look now, something people know you by! You can't just give up on that!" He says, handing me my hair gel. What does he mean by that? It's not like we're in a TV show.
He makes it evident that I can't leave if I don't do this, so I quickly gel my hair up and sprint out the door. As soon as I exit, I spot Mina. She looks utterly sick. She and a couple others are standing outside someone's room. The door is open and I see...blood. A lot of it.
I run over, and I look at the name tag first. It's Yaoyorozu. Hesitantly, very hesitantly, I look through the door. Yaoyorozu was there. On the ground. Soaked in her own blood. There was a knife through her throat, a slightly bigger knife in her stomach, and an even larger knife in her heart.
I feel sick. I run to my bathroom and throw up. Someone actually killed her. She's actually dead.
As I finish hurling, I get a notification from my handbook. An explanation and diagram of her death. Great. I look at the time of death. It says that it was 11:00 PM. that was... a little before I walked out of Bakugou’s room...
Should I go investigate the body? Should I stay in here?
What if I'm next?
