Malachi has been...different. more energetic. Not in a good way. He's making himself belief he's happy, being really energetic just to hide the fact that he is depressed.
He can't even realize it, neither can anyone else...Well...Expect Mekonnen...

Austin was filming a tiktok, he was following Malachi with the camera while Mk opened the door, Malachi walked further into the room.
He then slapped on different parts of his body for the dance on thesong that goes like 'let me see you go to work'. That's like THE most energetic dance you could do.
Mekonnen just watched. He watched for a while, while Malachi was having fun with Austin, Freya, some other boys and girls from the cast.
Why was that so weird? Malachi was happy...TOO happy.
He was faking it to hide his depression and he didn't even realize it. But he would when Malachi saw what Mk just saw on his insta.
"Okay buddy, we gotta talk." Mk says while walking over to Malachi, grabbing his hand and dragging him to another room, away from the others.
"Hey, hey, woah. Dude, what's wrong?" Malachi asks. "Stop. Pretending." Mekonnen tells him.
"What?"
"You heard me."
"I did. I just don't get it."
"You are not over Y/n, Malachi."
Malachi froze. Hearing her name just did something to him. "Wha-What do you mean?" He asked, scrathing the back of his dyed red hair.
"You've been in love with her for 3 years. That doesn't go over in a week." Mk states. "Dude that has nothing to do with it." "Malachi just stop!" He then pulled his phone out. Apperently, you were live on insta.
"Watch this." Mekonnen commands.

Y/n's POV:
A big part of the cast were all hanging out in Austin's hotel room. I didn't go, neither did Sway. We were just chilling. Actually she was. My mind was on only one thing.
Malachi....
"Y/n? Why aren't you smiling? You love this part of the movie." Sway asks curiously, oblivious to what the movie and that scene actually mean to you.
Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse. You love Marvel. And it was the scene where Metro Boomin has a cameo.
He made the album for the movie. Asked you to sing 'Am I Dreaming?' The song that came in the amazing credit scene. (Let me dream guys!)
