"I'm really sorry T, if I had known the Alpha would react that way, I would have never gotten close to you" I apologized for the upteenth time since I found my way to his office.

"As if your sorry will make up for anything" his mate retorted. What was with this one, I didn't even do anything to her.

"As if I asked for your opinion, my dear your opinion doesn't matter"

"My opinion should matter, last time I checked I was his mate" she proudly stated.

"If I had decided to kill my mother during birth am sure you wouldn't be here arrogantly stating your mated status, so better have some respect dearest child"

"You..."

"Enough both of you" T yelled almost choking himself.

"You better speak softly, I wouldn't want you commiting suicide or rather finishing what the Alpha started " I warned trying to hold in my laughter.

"Evil child"

"So they have said" it's then he realized what his words meant to me.

"I didn't mean it that way sis, I just said it as a joke" he pleaded and I just nodded to show him it was okay. It no longer mattered now that I was not there anymore.

"Ahem..."

"Spit it out" T said.

"What's the Alpha's name?" I shyly asked. I didn't even know the name of my supposed mate.

Instead of answering my question, T burst out laughing.

"What's so funny little bro?"

"You mean you don't know his name, and yet he claims that you are his mate..this time Zyaire is in deep shit. Must be karma"

"Zyaire..." I tested his name on my tongue and it rolled out so perfectly as if it was meant to be said by me.

"Sis!"

"Mmh.."

"Thank you" it took me awhile to understand what he was talking about.

"I told you not to mention it, haven't you thanked me enough over the years"

"It's just that...I don't think I could ever thank you enough for all the sacrifices you made for me at the expense of your happiness" he was crying again. Such a man crybaby.

"But it was and still is my duty as your elder sister, so no need to worry when I only did what was on my job description" I joked to lighten the mood.

"You are the best sister one could ever ask for" I wanted to hug him but his mates cheeks were super puffed up. I bet my brother was going to be sex starved for a week plus. No apologies though. He turned to his angry mate.

I didn't know I had the power to reduce the greatest and strongest of men to tears. Girl power it is!

"Michelle, you jealous again" T cooed his mate who seemed to want nothing to do with him anymore.

"Who's jealous, me? No way?"

I bid goodbye to T and left, I needed to find the Alpha so I can know the way forward on my stay here and when to leave. I couldn't get comfortable now, could I?

I walked back to the pack house and headed to my room.

Maybe I should get a job in the pack so that I could save some money. After all when the time to leave comes I will need money to sustain myself.

I made it a mental note to ask the Alpha when he comes. Then boom! Kaya decided to play the video graphic memory of my heated kiss with my supposed mate.
