???

I walked through the barren landscape aimlessly, a constant wind blowing around me whipping at my hood. No vegetation or greenery in sight anywhere.
I guess she really is gone for good, but I can't give up now. If she is still alive we can't let them find her.

I carefully crawl through a narrow passage in a mountain, the dust danced around my feet as I squeezed myself through the smallest part of the cavern and came across a small humble opening in the cave.

My eyes wander around the small cave and they land on a opening in the ceiling, sun shined in lighting it up and water dripped in.

I watch a drop fall down into a small puddle.

My eyes widen when I saw green behind the water, more so as I took my hood down to look at the tiny bloom.

I walked closer trying to subside my excited wind swirling around me.God forbid I harm her in any way... or we're all doomed.

I cupped my hands in the water and poured it around the bloom  being extra careful not to get the leafs  wet.

I don't know why I did that. It'll take years for it to grow into a tree, and it may not even house her.

Before I finished the thought the small plant began to glow.

Huh?

The small tree grew and the roots glowed under the ground as they grew toward the water.

It worked!?!

The roots grew up out of the ground and rapidly spread around me growing up the walls and little buds bloomed all around.

The trees bark began to grow and the ground broke as the tree grew rapidly in size. The roots swelled from the water.

I stepped back and watched in amazement as the tree grew to almost the top of the cave, it bloomed in a rainbow of colors.

The tree moved, moved and swayed as if it were breathing.

Beneath the trees twisted bark a faint green glow pulsed slowly and it gradually became faster before the glow pierced through the spaces making me cover my eyes.

Slowly I uncovered my eyes as the light dimmed.

I-is she-?

My thoughts were interrupted by the tree splitting apart in the center and the bark opened up revealing a girl.

She had green hair that had snaked it's way down the tree trunk and into the water rooting it's self in the wet ground.

Vines wrapped around her holding her steady during her dormant state.

I cringed at the sight of a pure black blade buried in her stomach, it infected the area around it.

So that's why she's dormant.

I cautiously stepped forward trying my hardest not to step on her roots.

When I was close enough I hesitantly reached forward and grabbed the handle of the blade.

I cringed at the sound of it coming out of her flesh.

Her green blood stained the blade and dripped down.

The infection around the wound slowly decreased into nothing just leaving the gap.

I gotta patch her up! But with what?!

As I looked around frantically for something to slow the bleeding a faint glow emitted from the wound.

The glow caught my eye and I watched what looked like threads fusing themselves back together healing the wound.
