Quick description: My OC is a former member of the Payday Gang, turned into an undead, zombie-slaying, god-loving powerhouse. He is known simply is Graham. This name in reference to him sharing character traits with Joshua Graham, but he also shares character traits with a few other characters.
Backstory (get ready because this is gonna be long and make no fuckin' sense):
It's a big crossover with Payday and a few zombie franchises. Graham joined the Payday Gang at 19, being the youngest member next to Joy. Spending most of his days as a street urchin after his mother passed away and his father being absent most of his life, he was taken in and given a place to belong by the Payday crew. He gets along well with everyone in the gang, they treat him like family and he thinks of them as family too.
One day, a job goes awry and he is knocked unconscious, captured, and taken to a secret facility where scientists are studying the effects of the Green Flu and other zombie-like virus strains, and he is used as a test subject. There are brief points where he wakes up from his comatose state due to immense amounts of pain. Eventually, he wakes up in a hospital bed and wanders out of the room to find himself in a dimly lit reception area, and sees a sickly-looking security guard shambling around. The guard turns around and immediately tried to savagely attack Graham, but he punches off the zombie guard's head, and is shocked by this newfound strength.
He takes the gun off the guard and fights his way through the facility and laboratories, before coming across some weapons that the scientists were working on while studying the viruses. A pair of these

Nocturnal machetes, created to easily dispose of the infected (yes I know they're from Dying Light, this is my crossover backstory so I decide what to do with it). Graham continues to fight his way out of the facility, and eventually comes across some research papers that are labeled with his name. At the top of the research notes reads "Project Strain". The goal of the project was to weaponize the strongest factors of different viruses, taking the genes of special infected and turning them into a serum of sorts, while still allowing the user to retain their human looks and thoughts. Taking the serum essentially kills the subject, and reanimates them. So unlike the "zombies" in franchises like Left 4 Dead, Dying Light, and Dead Island, Graham is ACTUALLY undead, while at the same time harboring a deadly world-ending plague. He has just about all the abilities of the special infected from left 4 dead. Extreme durability and strength from the Tank genes, super agility from the Hunter genes, extendable tongue from the Smoker genes, acid spit from the Spitter genes, sonic screams from the Screamer (Dead Island Screamer) genes, the list goes on.
Graham continues to read through the papers and sees there's a drawback to the serum. If the virus has not been given enough time to fully adapt to the host, it will slowly drain the life force every time these "Viral Abilities" are used. But when the virus fully bonds with the host, they are given a small array of new abilities, one of which is a healing factor beyond compare. A healing factor so strong that the host will be able to reform their entire body from a single drop of blood. However, it takes about a year for the virus to fully bond, and it's only been about 3 months for Graham. He continues reading through the papers and finds the name of the head researcher of the project, and he finds out the one who captured him, experimented on him, and essentially caused the world to end via a zombie virus is his absent father, who was also listed as taking the serum after it proved successful on Graham. Upon realizing this, Graham slowly starts to get angrier and angrier, before his jaw suddenly splits open as he lets out a shrill roar.
