Academy (Part 1)

During my week at the Frozen Mansion, I heard a lot about the Royal Academy, where Charlotte and I would be studying for four years...

I don't know how Charlotte's mother, Larissa-sama, knew so much about it, and the way she spoke to us, it was as if she was a teacher at the Academy!

"Anos-kun, maybe we've arrived" Charlotte looked at the scene outside and stared at me, poking me in the cheek with her hand.

I was startled out of the dream and before I could understand what was going on, she pulled me down from the carriage.

What caught my eye at that moment was a massive structure with nearly a dozen rows of large houses lined up in the centre of a forest called Great Locuss. It wouldn't be worth mentioning if I didn't see a golden bell tower in the centre of the academy.

As we got out of the carriage, the clock struck twelve in the afternoon and the bell rang for a long time, temporarily drowning out Charlotte's words, but I could still hear something like "It's made of pure gold".

"We are first year students, we just came to the Academy today!" Charlotte spoke up.
