Natasha slowly came to, she found herself lying on a cold, unforgiving floor. She struggled to sit up, her hand instinctively cradling her belly to ensure her babies' safety. Her gaze frantically scanned the dimly lit space, and her heart sank when she spotted Boris standing a short distance away, a menacing glint in his eye. He was holding a pocket knife, the blade glinting in the faint light.

"Ah, you're awake," Boris said, his voice dripping with malice as he took a step closer to Natasha. "I was starting to think I'd have to find other ways to rouse you."

Natasha's voice trembled with fear. "W-what do you want from me?"

Boris's smile was twisted and cruel. He pointed the knife at Natasha's belly, and she felt a surge of terror. But instead of attacking her unborn children, he made a shallow cut on each of her cheeks. Natasha cried out in pain and shock.

"Why are you doing this?" she begged, tears streaming down her face. "I've never done anything to you!"

"You didn't do anything to me, but your husband did," Boris said, his voice dripping with venom as he trailed the knife across Natasha's belly, careful not to cut too deep.

Natasha's eyes welled up with tears. "My daughters are innocent. Whatever Kai did to you, please don't take it out on them."

Boris's laughter was cold and mirthless. "Oh, they're innocent, all right. But that won't save them. I want to make Kai's life a living hell, and using you and your precious daughters is the perfect way to do it."

Natasha's voice trembled with desperation. "Hurting me or my daughters won't affect Kai. He doesn't care about us. Why would you think that?"

Boris's smile twisted into a snarl. "Oh, Natasha, you really are clueless. Let me enlighten you. Kai's secrets are far darker than you could ever imagine. And I'm going to expose them all, starting with his precious family."

Meanwhile at crime branch headquarter

The four officers - Daichi, Tyson, Ray, and Max - burst into Chief Hiro's office, their faces filled with determination.

"What brings you guys here?" Chief Hiro asked, looking up from his laptop with a hint of curiosity.

"Chief, we want to know about your high school friends," Tyson said, his voice firm.

Chief Hiro's expression changed, and he stood up, his eyes narrowing. "So you found out... Even when I told you not to think about the letter anymore."

"But why did you hide the truth from us, Chief?" Ray asked, his voice calm but laced with a hint of accusation.

"I didn't think it was necessary," Chief Hiro replied, his voice measured.

"Not necessary?" Tyson repeated, his voice rising. "You're saying it's not necessary for us to know that you were senior to Kai and Ivy in high school? That's a pretty big omission, Chief."

Daichi's face reddened with anger. "You don't trust us, Chief! That's what it boils down to!"

Ray placed a calming hand on Daichi's arm. "Let's hear him out, guys. There must be a reason why Chief Hiro kept this hidden."

Max nodded in agreement. "Yeah, Chief, we should listen to what you have to say."

Chief Hiro took a deep breath, his eyes clouding over. "Very well... It seems I have no choice but to tell you the whole story of the Hiwatari family."

The room fell silent, anticipation hanging in the air as Chief Hiro prepared to reveal the truth.
