WHAT HAPPENED!!!

{The Watch!}

Why do I feel so? I don't have any memory of the watch I don't know how I got it ? From where did I brought it? I don't remember any of it but I feel it's mine! How and why am I feeling so?

"I don't know" I mumbled tears welled in my eyes I laid on my bed and covered up myself trying to sleep to escape from the thoughts that were clouding my mind.

Days pass by.....

As time passes by Sajjan's bonding with Mania grows, Sajjan no longer feels alone Mania becomes a great company for him. He also gets very attracted towards the watch, he becomes possessive of it. He keeps it very safe and makes sure no one touches it, not even Mania! He always wears it and keeps on checking it.

One evening Sajjan sits in the living room pondering deeply about something. That's when Mania returns from school with Ahlen, as soon as she enters she hops on Sajjan's lap.

"Chachu!" she yells.

"Tell me Manu! seems like you are really excited today ?" he pulls her closer to him.

"You promised you will give me the surprise today" she mutters.

"I'll definitely give you Manu! " he pinches her cheek softly.

"I will wait for it" she grins widely making Sajjan smile.

"Ok my cutie let's freshen up " Ahlen smoothly picks her up, and throws her in the air making her scream in joy then carries her to their room.

Ahlen's POV

As I handed Mania to Kuniha and returned to the living room I saw Sajjan pondering over something, his eyes stuck to the watch, and that's when I remembered that incident with the psychiatrist.

Flashback

After the psychiatrist told me to give some items to Sajjan, which carries a lot of memories within it. I decided to give him his favorite watch which I gifted him, that's why I intentionally wore the watch in front of him, and I was astonished to see his instant possessiveness towards it. 

I was astonished that he remembers the watch, if he remembers the watch then it's sure that he remembers the memories attached to it! That means he remembers certain incidents but he isn't ready to believe in it!

So I thought to make him speak out that's the reason I asked him the proof after he claimed that watch to be his, and I was eagerly waiting for his reply but all I saw was, his eyes started to well up then he helplessly replied that he doesn't know. Then he curled up in the bed covering him completely, I could hear his silent cries.

I was greatly disturbed by that incident , I didn't sleep a blink that night. I was thinking about him all night, he doesn't remember anything regarding that watch but he is still possessive of it! how is it possible? 

The next day I went to the Psychiatrist early in the morning, and narrated him the incident that took place last night and asked him the question which was bothering me all night.

"Sir you must first understand one thing " he looked at me.

"Yes doctor" I gestured him to continue.

"Whatever has happened in his life is not completely erased from his mind, those memories are still in his subconscious mind" he clarified.

"Then the doctors said he has forgotten everything? " I raised my eye brows,

"Memories of his life has only got erased from his conscious mind not the subconscious mind! some severe injures may erase your memories from the conscious mind, but It's impossible to erase the memories from human's subconscious mind" he explained it.
