You think you’ve won, don’t you?”
Taehyung spat, his voice dripping with venom.
“You think this is over?”
Jungkook remained silent for a moment, his gaze unreadable. Then, in a voice that was low and deadly calm, he replied,
“It doesn’t have to end like this, hyung. Just walk away. Leave me and Emma alone, and I’ll let you live.”
A bitter laugh escaped Taehyung’s lips, his expression twisted in disgust.
“Walk away? After everything you’ve done? After you lied to her, manipulated her, made her think I was dead? You’re the one who should walk away, Jungkook. You’re the one who doesn’t deserve her.”
Jungkook’s jaw tightened, his hands curling into fists at his sides.
“I did what I had to do to get her—”
“No,”
Taehyung interrupted, his voice rising with anger.
“You did it for yourself. You’re obsessed with her, Jungkook. You don’t love her—you want to own her, control her. But she’ll never be yours. She’ll see you for what you really are, and when she does, she’ll come back to me. She’ll realize that I’m the one who truly loves her, who would do anything for her.”
Those words struck a nerve in Jungkook, igniting a firestorm of emotion within him. The thought of losing Emma, of her turning her back on him and going to Taehyung, was a fear that he had buried deep inside, but now it was threatening to consume him. His breath quickened, his vision narrowing as his world collapsed into this moment, this confrontation.
“Shut up,”
Jungkook growled, his voice shaking with barely contained rage.
“You don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Taehyung stepped closer, his eyes blazing with fury.
“I know exactly what I’m talking about. You’re nothing but a coward, hiding behind lies and manipulation. You’ve poisoned everyone's mind, but I’ll show everyone
the truth. I’ll show everyone who you really are, and then Emma be mine again. You’ll have nothing, Jungkook. Nothing.”What do you think who will win this battle?
Any guesses?
Whom do you want to Emma end up with?
