Day 1 with men

I wake to find a head leaning on top of mine. Assuming it's Green Eyes, I don't move for fear of waking him. I glanced around as best I can. Violet Eyes is still sleeping, while Silver Eyes is sitting up, arms propped up on a bent leg, looking around the room which is bathed in golden streams of light from the upper windows.

I glance beyond him to Blue Eyes who is fast asleep it looks like.

I risk a side glance at Golden Eyes and see he is awake and taking in the room as well.

I decide to get some work done while I'm stuck not moving.

I let my magic show me the fields I've been cultivating for the neighboring farmers. They pay good money for it, though they don't know it's me. Mayla is the person they go through.

I don't have to do much this morning, so I check on the plants in each field before making sure the soil has the necessary nutrients.

I add certain small deposits of nutrients here and there. I have a certain cocktail that I've developed that helps strengthen and enrich the plants, much of the cocktail actually created from my knowledge I learned from the Kintu clan on Klaemdra.

Time passes quickly and the sun has soon shifted. It's probably been about two hours I note as I open my eyes again.

I look around. Everyone is awake except Green Eyes.

I try to glance up at him without moving.

While I hate to wake him, I need to get to training.

I gently shake him. Nothing.

I try again. Still nothing.

I try again a little harder. Still nothing.

I sigh and glance around.

I notice all the other men watching us.

Blue Eyes looks grumpily amused. Silver Eyes looks amused too, but more like he finds me cute. Violet Eyes looks at me like he's a sage of some sort - all wise - no less amused than the others though. And Golden Eyes is observing us dryly as if he's not surprised I can't wake Green Eyes.

Maybe he's just a sound sleeper. I decide to let him sleep and get out of this using magic.

I lift him up slightly off of me. He doesn't so much as stir.

I scoot away from him, then lay him down on the pillows I've left.

The next second he's wide awake, sitting up quickly, looking around frantically.

His gaze finds me and he relaxes.

I blink.

He looks around the room again, but slower this time.

I follow his gaze.

Golden Eyes looks like he was tense and is only now relaxing. Violet Eyes looks contemplative. Silver Eyes looks like he's trying to will Green Eyes to understanding that everything's okay, his gaze steady as their eyes hold. Silver Eyes relaxes further. He glances to Blue Eyes who looks like he's asking him something, I'm not sure what though. Green Eyes glances to me briefly, then back to Blue Eyes, slightly shaking his head and relaxing further. Blue Eyes nods and looks at me as if he's trying to figure something out.

I pull my gaze away from him to look at Green Eyes. He's watching me. I watch him back a moment, before noticing the sunlight behind him and startling. I'm going to be late if I don't start moving.

I pause. I don't know if I should bring them with me or not. I don't want to leave them on their own but I also don't know what Kalian has planned. I send a message to him asking for his advice.
