its been months since this hell

Aidens POV:

It has been months since we were captured and locked in the facility. Months of this living hell. It has been months since I've seen another living person except for Mr. Laurier. It's been months since I've seen Ashlyn. It's driving me crazy. I don't know what to do anymore. Every single night I'm stuck in this containment cell. I haven't talked to another living person in months. It feels like I'm losing my mind. I don't want to be here. I want out. I want to see my friends. I want to see Ashlyn...

Nobody's POV:

Aiden was losing his mind. He has been used and tortured for experiments. He hasn't seen any of his family or friends in months. Every night in the phantom realm he was locked in that tiny cell with nothing to do. Currently he was in a corner in the cell with a psychotic smile. He was losing his sanity being locked in that cell. He could hear the phantoms outside the locked door trying to get in but that was clearly impossible.

Aidens POV:

I was in the corner of my cell. I didn't know what to do anymore. As I was in the corner I listen to the phantoms outside the door. Then after there was silence.... And then voices. I heard banging on the door... Someone was here.... Then I heard her voice

Nobody's POV:

Ashlyn: WHY WON'T THIS STUPID DOOR STUPID OPEN?!

Logan: Ash I have the key card..

Ashlyn: Oh right

Logan unlocks the door and what Ashlyn sees makes her horrified. She saw Aiden and the condition he was in was painful for her to see. He had fresh scars on his wrists and look like he had been badly beaten. As soon as he saw Ashlyn tears started streaming down his face.

Aidens POV:

Ashlyn was here. As soon as I saw her tears started streaming down my face and she ran to me holding me as I sobbed into her chest. She whispered reassuring words to me as I cried.

Ashlyns POV:

I had never seen Aiden like this before. He was usually the extroverted adrenaline junkie in our friend group and seeing him in the state he was in broke my heart as I let him sob into my chest.

Time skip, 2 hours later the group was together again:

Aidens POV:

It has been 2 hours. My tears stopped and my sobbing turned into small hiccups. The whole time Ashlyn was there holding me. She played with my hair as Ben wrapped my wrists. I could tell he was hurt because I promised him I would quit, but due to the stress I was under I stole a scalpel from the room they experimented on me in and hurt myself. I know I hurt both him and Ashlyn but I wasn't thinking at the time.

Ben's POV:

Aiden promised he would quit but it seems like the stress of being in the facility was too much for him to handle. As I wrapped his wrists I could see he wasn't smiling his usual smile that he always had even in the scariest situations. I could tell he was ashamed of himself. After I wrapped his wrists I gave him a reassuring look as if to say I wasn't mad at him.

Aidens POV:

After Ben gave me that look I knew I wasn't in trouble and I knew he wasn't mad at me. For the rest of the 7 hours the others played board games while I braided Ashlyns short hair. When I finished I layed my head in her lap as she played with my hair and soon enough I fell asleep.
