-third person pov.-

The match between Team Z and Team V is almost over, score being 4-4. Isagi attempted to block Nagi, only for Nagi to hit the ball with his back and run after it.

Everyone filled with dread as Nagi neared the net, with Y/n following closely.

Y/n was running alongside him, waiting for him to take his shot. She knew that was the easiest way to kick the ball away from him and didn't want to risk getting embarrassed by attempting to stop him as he ran.

Just as Nagi was about to take his shot, Kuon tackled him thinking that was the best option.

But with Y/n right on Nagi's trail not only did she also get injured, it was a bad injury. Y/n knew something was wrong with her foot but not wanting to cause a scene, she tried getting up and failed.

Gripping onto the grass tightly to try and hide her pain as Reo yelled at Kuon for messing him up. Nagi noticed her pain and got up to check on her,

"did i do that?" he asked trying to conceal how nervous he was, it looked really bad.

"not necessarily.." Y/n said while clenching her jaw tightly, Nagi took off her shoe and lifted up her pants a bit to inspect and it looked even worse.

She was bleeding bad and her foot looked off, seeing it made everything worse and Y/n whimpered while Nagi winced.

Lifting her up and taking her to the bench which caught a couple of their teammates attention but nobody noticed just yet.

"do you want me to take you to the infirmary?" Nagi asked while tilting his head to the side a bit, Y/n was in pain but felt bad for distracting him.

"you can continue the match, i'll manage"

"that wasn't an option" he said before lifting her again and taking her to the infirmary,

Nagi didn't really know what to do in this moment, but Y/n said she'd just wait in here and told him to head back making him nod.

He didn't really want to leave but he knew Reo was worried,

When he made it back in the room Team Z was staring at him accusingly.

"where'd you take y/n??" Igarashi asked loudly, wondering why his teammate was kidnapped.

"she was injured so i took her to the infirmary"

"y/n got injured??" Isagi asked shocked, not noticing anything.

"yeah and you losers were too focused on kuon" Nagi said before making his way to his worried team.

Team Z looked at each other, "let's win this, not only for our teams sake but to make y/n proud" Kunigami said while making his way back to his position as the rest of Team Z nodded.

The match between Team Z and Team V ended, 5-4 with Team Z as the winners.

After Raichi made his love and hate filled statement towards Kuon, giving him a punch in the face to keep it even.

Team Z celebrated before making their way to their room, they were setting up the potluck before feeling as if something was off.
