"Pfft no way. He's never let us have extra days off after we recovered from a trip to the hospital"

" Fine I'll ask him for you guys"

He finally agreed causing everyone to cheer in excitement

"Yay! Now go!"

They all ushered him towards the elevator

I knocked on his office door and waited for his usual 'come in' before silently stepping in

"Hello Sunoo, do you need anything?"

"I just wanted to ask you something, please don't get mad"

"It depends on what you want to ask me"

"Well... I was wondering if we could have a celebration for everyone since the company has achieved a huge goal"

Sunoo braced himself to get scolded or yelled at for asking a question like that but he only received a light chuckle from him

"Why would I yell at you for that?"

"What?"

"Of course that can happen. I'll get someone to plan it"

Sunoo felt his whole body relax and a big smile crept onto his face

"Thank Mr. Nishimura. I'll go back to my desk now" He said and bowed before leaving

As soon as he got off the elevator, he was met with everyone's faces that were full of anticipation

They silently watched him walk towards his desk and sit down in his chair

"So?! What did he say??" Jennie, the coworker from earlier asked eagerly

"He said..... YES!!!"

There was a huge sigh of relief from Jennie while everyone else celebrated

"Omgosh thank you so much Sunoo. He would definitely say no to the rest of us"

"No problem but you owe me now, I almost risked my life"

"Whatever you want because you just got us a free break"

"Mhm whatever" He sarcastically rolled his eyes

Sunoo stepped into the large building and instantly felt the need to go home. The only reason he was even here was because heeseung and jungwon made him go, otherwise he would've stayed home while binging k-dramas and eating takeout

'Gosh why did I even agree to coming '

He thought to himself while trying to find an empty seat

The atmosphere was very chaotic, the lights were low and the music was loud. Everyone was giving off a completely different vibe from the ones they usually have at the office

Everyone had their own little group of people except for Sunoo. He didn't really talk to anyone in the company like that other than Jungwon and Heeseung but they weren't with him at the moment

Sunoo was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't notice the couch slightly dip next to him until the person spoke

"Why aren't you with the others Sunoo?"
