So, yesterday my family friends came over.
Bad thing I was sick.
I still have the flu.
Bad think i had to be social anyway.
We went on a long walk, with the coast on one side and national park on the other. I climbed to this really tall cliff face to look out at the coast below. I got a really weird feeling to just jump off, feel the wind. It would be worth it, wouldnt it.
Ive had this mystery with my sneakers. Only one of them though. If i stepped into a tint puddle of water, it wouldnt be even higher than the waterproof rubbery part of my shoes, the whole top half of my foot would soak all the way through. i had a really close look, and i didnt notice it before, but i have a huge slit cut by something on the rubbery sole of my shoe on the outside. When i was on the walk, i kept getting rocks stuck in it, and now i have a huge cut on my foot. After lunch, if im feeling well enough, we will go into town and get new shoes.
After out walk, we got gelato in town and chilled in the shade. I had this really good watermelon strawberry swirl flavour. After we finished, we went to woolies because i wanted to gat and aloe drink. if youve never had one, it tastes a bit like a sort of juice, with bits of aloe vera that makes it the texture of tapioca boba. I didnt drink it though because i was feeling really sick, so i have it stored in the fridge.
i wanted to watch a movie with my parents, because my sister was at a sleepover. They refused to watch anime with me, because they are no fun. We ended up watching a comedy movie. When i woke up this morning, i felt really tired, because i didnt sleep because of my throat killing me. How convenient, the one time my school has a pupil free day, im sick.
It stopped raining today, but i think theres rain expected around 3 pm, and temperatures are to drop tomorrow. Im really getting sick of this weather, but its better than the drought in February. Its been to cold and wet to go and check on my den, but i think it may have collapsed in the wind and rain. When i feel better, and when the weather warms up i need to go and see if its still standing.
If i feel well enough to go and get shoes, i'll try to convince my mum to let me go to the library and the little shop that sells enamel pins.
