Y/N and Jimin walked back to their cabins after the bonfire. The tension from earlier had faded, leaving behind a comfortable silence between them. Jimin glanced at Y/N, a small smile playing on his lips. "You really didn't have to do that, you know."

Y/N shrugged, trying to downplay the moment. "I know, but I wanted to. You're my friend, Jimin. I won't let anyone make you uncomfortable."

Jimin nodded, clearly touched. "Thanks, Y/N. It means a lot."

They reached their cabins, and after exchanging goodnights, Y/N slipped into bed, her mind racing. She felt good about standing up for Jimin, but there was something more to the way he looked at her, something she couldn't quite shake off.

The next day, the group gathered for breakfast before heading out for a hike. Minji seemed distant, avoiding Y/N and Jimin, but Y/N didn't mind. She was more focused on enjoying the day and seeing where things might go with Jimin.

As they hiked through the scenic trails, Y/N and Jimin naturally fell into step together, their conversation flowing easily. They laughed, joked, and shared stories, feeling closer than ever. The tension from the previous night felt like a distant memory, replaced by a growing bond between them.

Minji, however, wasn't one to back down so easily. Throughout the day, Y/N noticed her throwing glances their way, her expression a mix of frustration and determination. Y/N knew this wasn't the last she'd hear from Minji, but for now, she was content to enjoy the trip and the company of her friends.

As the group continued their hike, Y/N and Jimin naturally walked together, enjoying each other's company. They talked and laughed, feeling more connected with each step.

During a break, Minji, who had been distant, suddenly joined them. She tried to insert herself into their conversation but grew frustrated when her attempts didn't seem to work. Finally, she asked Jimin to walk with her for the rest of the hike.

Before Jimin could respond, Y/N quickly chimed in with a smile, "Actually, Jimin and I were just debating if pineapple belongs on pizza. We need to settle that!"

Jimin laughed and agreed, while Minji's smile faded. She tried to mask her annoyance with sarcasm, but Y/N calmly replied, "Sometimes, it's just nice to be with someone who's genuinely interested in the conversation, without any hidden agendas."

Minji huffed and walked ahead, clearly annoyed. Soo-young whispered to Y/N, "You're on fire today."

Y/N just smiled, feeling good about standing her ground. As they resumed hiking, Jimin stayed close to Y/N, their bond growing stronger despite the tension with Minji.

After the hike, the group returned to their campsite for lunch. Y/N and Jimin found a quiet spot to eat together, continuing their light-hearted conversation. Minji kept her distance, clearly still annoyed.

After lunch, the group decided to explore a nearby lake. The water was too inviting to resist, and soon everyone was swimming and having fun. Y/N and Jimin floated side by side on inflatable rafts, enjoying the peaceful moment.

"This trip turned out better than I expected," Jimin said, glancing at Y/N.

"Yeah?" Y/N replied, smiling.

"Mostly because of the company," Jimin added with a soft tone, making Y/N's heart flutter.

The rest of the day was spent exploring, with Y/N and Jimin growing closer. By evening, everyone was in good spirits around the campfire. Minji seemed to have let things go, and the day ended on a positive note.

As Y/N lay in her sleeping bag that night, she couldn't help but smile. The trip had its ups and downs, but it turned out to be a day she wouldn't forget.
