When Julie went to bed her head was buzzing with the same question. She couldn't sleep. She tried to empty her mind, but the expression on Snape's face when she had seen his leg wasn't easy to forget.

Julie looked at the clock. It was 5:30 a.m. and I still didn't get a single minute of sleep. She probably wasn't going to fall asleep anyway, so she got up and got ready. She put on her scarlet Quidditch robe which had "CLARKE 06" on the back,  braided her hair into two french braids and made her way down to the common room, with her broomstick in her hand.

She sat down on the sofa next to the fire place and pulled her legs to my chest. She closed my eyes in an attempt to forget about all her thoughts. Suddenly she heard a cat in front of her and looked up.

In front of her was Harry together with Juniper.

"What are you doing here?" she asked. "And why are you holding my cat?"

"What are you doing here?" he asked while sitting down next to her and placing Juniper in the armchair next to them.

"I couldn't sleep." Julie sighed, answering him truthfully. "I'm nervous about the match. I guess I'm just overthinking this."

"Me too" he said while swinging his arm around her shoulder. "But we're going to be fine"

Julie didn't know why, but his words instantly calmed her nerves. The tension in her chest melted away, and she found herself leaning into his warmth. They sat there for a while, in comfortable silence, before she finally dozed off, still tucked into the crook of his arm.

The rest of the Quidditch team had woken up pretty early aswell and we went down to the Great Hall as soon as we could get breakfast. Julie was walking with the Weasley twins not saying a word. Fred was the first one to speak up.

"You know, we saw you sitting there with Harry earlier, hugging." he said "Looked like more than friends to me"

"We didn't hug." Julie argued "He just had his arm around me. I was too tired to say anything"

"Right." said George. "Sure, sure. We'll let you of this time."

Harry and Julie sat down next to each other at the Gryffindor table. She couldn't bring herself to eat. Even though she was calmer than before, she still was very nervous. After a while the Great Hall started getting more crowded and was filled with cheerful chatter.

"You both have got to eat some breakfast" Hermione said as she looked at Harry and Julie.

"I don't want anything" said Harry as Julie silently sat there.

"Just a bit of toast" Hermione answered as she put a toast on Julie's plate and then on Harrys.

"You need your strength" Seamus said.

Julie ended up eating half a toast with a bit of raspberry jam.

While they were sitting, a lot of people came up to Harry and Julie to wish them a good luck. She noticed that most of the people who came to her were boys, some of them being older than she was. Harry got his fair share of girls as well, which he seemed to enjoy a lot.

By eleven o'clock the whole school seemed to be out in the stands around the Quidditch pitch.

Harry and Julie were in the changing rooms with the rest of the team. She sat between Angelina Johnson and Katie Bell, who both were Chasers as well. Wood cleared his throat for silence.

"Ok men" he said.

"And women" Angelina added.

"And women" Wood agreed. "This is it."

"The big one" Fred said

"The one we've all been waiting for" George continued.

"We know Oliver's speech by heart" Fred told us.

"Shut up, you two" said Wood. "This is the best team Gryffindor's had in years. We're going to win. I know it."

He glared at them as if he wanted to say "Or else"

"Right it's time. Good luck, all of you."

Harry and Julie followed Fred and George out of the changing rooms on to the pitch. Her heart was thumping and her knees felt shaky.

"Fist bump?" Harry asked her as he put his fist next to her.

She rolled her eyes but grinned anyway. "You really are something else, Potter."

"Just take the fist bump, Jules," he said, holding up his fist. She tapped it with his, and for a moment, everything felt a little less nerve-wracking.

Madam Hooch was referring. She stood in the middle of the pitch, waiting for the teams, her broom in her hand.

"Now, I want a nice fair game, all of you" she said, once they were all gathered around her. Julie noticed that she seemed to be speaking particularly to the Slytherin Captain, Marcus Flint, who looked as if he had some troll blood in him.

Out of the corner of her eye Julie saw a fluttering banner high above, flashing Clarke & Potter with a big lion. She felt a lot braver.

"Mount your brooms, please"

Julie clambered on to her Nimbus Two Thousand. Fifteen brooms rose up, high, high into the air. Harry and Julie exchanged quick smiles and they were off.
