Chapter 1

Yves POV

"Yves, can you go to your grandpa today? You know that his been waiting for you since yesterday, but you didn't visit him, and now his complaining to me. Go and visit him today, can you?" My mother said while baking a chocolate cake that i will be giving to my grandpa since it is his favorite.

"I will, mom. I've been busy to our company this last few days that's the reason why I haven't visit grandpa"

"Okay, you should eat now, i heard that you'll be meeting with a client today?"
"Yes, mom. And, i'll be meeting one of our biggest shareholder today." I said while preparing my foods.

"Oh, Johan?" My mother asked me.
"Yeah, I think that's his name, I haven't seen his face nor know his name, Today will be our first meeting."

"Is that so?" My mother said sadly.
"Sometimes I don't get you mom, you laughed even though its not funny, you cry although the movie is a comedy, do you need to go to the mental hospital, mom? I might be able to come with you, how about i posponed all my meeting today and lets go to the mental hospital." I said

"I don't need that, sweetie. And, you'll know later on why i'm being like this or maybe you don't" My mother said while still looks so sad.

"Okay, whatever" I just said, but I'm curious of what my mother said at the end since it was just a whisper, so i didn't hear it clearly.

I am done eating and now i'm going upstairs to my room to get all the important documents i've been working since last night.

I am done getting all the things that I needed and I goes to myst to gave him some foods and hugged him.

"I'll go now, mom". I said as i go downstairs

"Okay, sweetie. Take care" My mother said and she hugged me

I am now in our garage, riding my car, i started my car engines and drives away.

"Good morning Ma'am". The employees said to me while I am walking towards the elevator.

I arrived at my office and I was surprise when i saw my childhood friend from Canada.

"Hi, Blake!" I said happily and hugged him.

"You're still clingy as ever" Blake said.
"Am I?" I said curiously.

"Don't you remember?" Blake said in a husky tone and he raised his eyebrows.

*/Knock, knock

"Good morning Ma'am Yves and Sir." My secretary said.

"What is it, Priscilla?"

"Mr. Johan Morrison Cornegie is here, Ma'am?"

"Is that so, but isn't our meeting at 1:30?" I said, wondering why he is here so early.

"Does he have something to sa-" I haven't finished my word when suddenly someone come out from Priscilla's back.

"You are?" I said and raises my eyebrows

"Oh, seems like you don't know who I am, Ms. Yves Castillo Chan". He said, crossing his arms, leaning his back against the door.

"Umm... I'm sorry but isn't this the first time we meet?" I ask

"Yeah. Maybe i'm just mistook you to someone else".

He said that, but i wonder why does his voice sound so sad. I said to myself.
"So, i wonder why you came early today, Mr. Cornegie?"

"Nothing, I just came her to see someone. Then, I'll get going now. See you tomorrow. We'll just have to reschedule our meeting since I might not be able to go today because I have an important matter to attend."
"Is it more important than this meeting?" I said

"Unfortunately, Yes, It is more important that this meeting. I'm sorry once again" Then, he left my office.
I don't know why I felt a pain in my heart when I saw him today, it felt like i know him very long. Nevermind.

"Do you have something in your mind, Yves" Blake said while waving his hand at me.

"Why did you ask that"

"Nothing, I just notice that you are deep in thought."

"Nothing was going on my mind, okay. I'm just thinking about all the paper works"

"Looks like your busy today, so i'll get going now. Take care and don't forget to eat lunch, okay?" He said and goes to the door.

"Don't worry, I will eat." I said, he nodded and left to my office.
