Late the next morning, you're lying in bed groaning into a pillow.
"I can't believe I asked the Prime Alpha of the Northern Shore pack to put forward a Toewyding Tyd request!" Embarrassment churns in the pit of your stomach as you think back on your behavior while the weight of your warring Omega instincts presses upon you.
On one end, you wanted to find Maverick and supplicate yourself before him while the other wanted to roll around in his scent and lick him from —"No!" You shake your head and press the pillow tighter to your face like you want to smother those thoughts.
"I need to talk to someone to help sort out this jumble of... thoughts and feelings but I'm too ashamed to see Logan. Not after l ignored his warning and got myself into trouble. And I can't even call alle" It was the cherry on top of a disastrous day to realize that your phone was missing.
Frustrated with everything, you sit up and throw the pillow you were using across the room.
"Aaah!" You scream in surprise at the unexpected knock on the door and scramble off the bed, nearly toppling over as the blankets tangle around your legs.
"Y/n? Are you okay?" The door handle turns in quick succession as a frantic-
sounding jimin tries to open the door that you locked the night before.
"Jimin! You scared years off my life!"You press your hand against the frantic beat of your heart.
"Sorry, pretty girl, but it's getting late in the day and I'm worried about you." Jimin said worriedly
A sharp stab of regret pierces you at the solemn words."I am such a terrible Ward..." You walk toward the door but hesitate to open it.
"What if he's mad that / didn 't listen to him yesterday and got into trouble? Or worse, that he thinks he's a bad Guardian because he wasn t there to protect me?!"The need to comfort him overrides any shame you might feel, and you reach to unlock the door.
"I know that yesterday was... a lot, but I promise that the situation isn't as bad as you think it is." As soon as Logan said that The need to console him instantly disappears and you snatch your hand back while you scowl at the door.
"I thought Guardians aren't supposed to lie to their Wards?" You said angryly, You hear jimin chuckle.
"I would never lie to you, Y/n. Now, let me in so we can talk about what happened yesterday." Jimin said

"Maybe if I ignore it long enough, the entire situation will disappear." You thought
"It's not going to go away if you ignore it, you know." His teasing strokes your ire and your scowl deepens as you bring your hands to your hips.
"I know you can't actually do it but stop reading my mind anyway! Leave me to my pity party!" You said but, You hear Logan chuckle again and you kick at the door, mindful of your bare feet.
We don't have to talk about yesterday if you don't want to, pretty girl, just open the door so that I can make sure you're alright.

"Fine. I guess I'm going to have to give this giant mug of hot chocolate to someone else to enjoy."You and your Omega both immediately perk up.
"Did you say hot chocolate?" You asked
"That's right. Hot enough to leave blisters in your mouth, in a mug as big as your face." Jimin answered
You shuffle a little closer to the door, your fingers twitching at the promise of sweet bliss.
