Snow White in Neverland ✓

Snow White was a beautiful young girl with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood and hair as black as ebony. She was sitting on her window frame, looking out at the castle gardens and the endless forest surrounding it. She felt trapped and lonely: she wanted to play in the fountains and run in the woods, but she was not allowed to leave the castle - her stepmother forbid it.

The new queen did not love her and criticized everything she did ever since she had turned seven, which was five years ago. Snow White did not know what she had done wrong.

Her father, the king, had died a few years after he had remarried. Snow White suspected, her father had died because of a broken heart, a heart that his new wife could not mend, despite her beauty. But among the castle's staff, the rumour spread that the "evil queen" had poisoned him. Snow White did not want to believe it.

Snow White dreamed of freedom and a carefree life - as she had seen it in her dreams: on a green island with exotic flowers and birds, lots of music and fun playing with other children her age.

Just in this moment, she saw a flying shadow coming closer and closer. Snow White was afraid and moved back towards her bed, hiding under a blanket. She heard soft tinkling, and when she looked up, she saw a young boy wearing leaves and a pan flute as a chain around his neck, accompanied by a tiny golden glittery fairy looking at her curiously.

"Who are you?" Snow White said with a shy voice.

"I'm Peter - Peter Pan, and that is Tink," the boy answered. "I can help you to flee this prison. I know a place with many trees and flowers and other nice people to play hide-and-seek with. Do you want to come play with us?"

Snow White was hesitant to leave because she didn't know anything else but the castle. But she had nothing to lose, and no one would miss her, thus, she nodded. Just in this moment, the fairy, Tink, put pixie dust over her, and she could feel herself losing touch of the ground. She was flying! And the three flew out of the window while she lost consciousness.

When she awoke, they approached an island similar to what she had seen in her dreams. From the sky, she could see a ship, a high mountain, and many trees and exotic flowers. She saw kids her age running in the woods winking at them, all heading to the same destination. Snow White's eyes sparkled as she got closer to the ground of the island.

"Welcome to Neverland, your new home!" Peter then announced with a carefree and mischievous grin. Tink just huffed a bit annoyed because Peter had promised her a small thank-you gift for lending this princess her dust to fly ... but of course, he had forgotten about it.

"Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" The late queen asked her magic mirror that never lied. "My queen, Snow White is the fairest one of all."

The evil queen was furious. She had hoped that puberty would lessen Snow White's beauty, but enough was enough. She needed a final solution. Just then, the mirror added: "But now, she is on an island called Neverland."

The queen was familiar with that island. Captain Hook had been her informant for years, as she wanted to know the secret behind Peter Pan's forever-lasting youth and beauty. While the mirror provided her with youthful beauty, it came at a high cost. She had been hunting for an alternative.

The queen contacted Captain Hook and informed him about the high reward he would get if he captured both Snow White and Peter Pan, killing the first and bringing the latter for some medical and scientific experiments.

Snow White was laughing so much. She couldn't even remember a time anymore, where she had been unhappy. The seven 'Lost Boys', as Peter called them, instantly liked Snow White and played with her. The youngest told her that she reminded him of a girl he once knew but not remembered.

As promised, they played hide-and-seek in the woods. She heard heavy boots making noises, so she made herself smaller in her hideout.

"Captain, we have captured one of the lost boys. Peter and Snow White cannot be far," a voice announced the chilling truth. Snow White was confused and afraid - who were these people on such a peaceful island?

"Thank you, Mr. Smee. We are the pirates, we always get what we are out for!" The second voice, belonging to the Captain, answered.

Snow White did not know what to do: stay hidden or run for her life because they were after her and sounded dangerous. She decided to stay put and wait for her rescue.

They walked past her, and Snow White already wanted to leave her hiding spot when a silver hook heaved her by the collar of her dress out of her place. Snow White screamed out of fear when she stared into the dangerously glinting eyes of this man.

"I have you, princess. You are indeed as striking as your reputation promises. You would have made an excellent cleaner and a beautiful one to look at. But women do bring bad luck on a ship, so I'm getting rid of you."

In this moment, two people attacked him from behind: she recognized Peter, but the girl next to him was unknown to her. A boy from the woods screamed: "He is here. Peter is here to rescue us. And there's Tiger Lilly, too."

Together, the 'Lost Boys', Peter Pan, and Tiger Lilly fought off the pirates that ran back to their ship. Snow White could only look in awe at the strong girl in front of her.

"Can you teach me how to fight like that? " She asked Tiger Lilly. The girl remained quiet and only looked at her while she continued. "I have been weak and powerless all my life, trapped in the castle. I want to become stronger."

Tiger Lilly seemed understanding and promised to come the next day for a lesson.

Meanwhile, Captain Hook proclaimed he had killed Snow White, presenting a heart that the evil queen could see through the magic mirror.

She was only halfway joyful: "And what about Peter Pan?" She asked with an unhappy expression. The pirate promised her again to catch him next chance he got.

The queen, in a satisfied mood, asked to the mirror again who the fairest one of all was. The mirror shocked her by proclaiming that the girl hidden away in Neverland remained the fairest.

The queen was furious - and decided to take matters into her own hands.

The next morning, Tiger Lilly arrived at the 'The Lost Boys' and Peters' home, as promised to teach her how to fight. For this, they walked together into the woods to train without distractions from the seven boys.

Tiger Lilly presented Snow White with three items: a colourful, silky laced bodice; a comb, and an apple. Snow White looked at her trainer curiously as she did not see how any of these items could be used as a weapon.

Tiger Lilly just laughed and told her the apple was for her to have a healthy breakfast, as a good fighter had to eat well. So Snow White grabbed the apple and bit into the red half and chewed. But a piece got stuck, she collapsed and stopped breathing.

Tiger Lilly transformed back into the evil queen, and she just laughed as she had finally reached her goal: she had poisoned her beautiful stepdaughter and was the fairest woman of all.

She took her mirror she had hidden under her robe and stepped through it, transporting her directly to Captain Hook's ship JOLLY ROGER. For his lie, she tricked and poisoned him too - as she knew the Captain was vain, she gifted him the comb under the pretense that it was magical and would turn everything it touched to gold.

He wanted to turn his silvery hook to gold - and as he touched his arm with it, the poisoned spread, and he staggered, but grabbed the queen to regain balance. Both went overbord into the ocean; the crocodile with the ticking clock that had been targeting the pirate ever since he had eaten his hand, captured both.

Peter Pan and Tinkerbell followed the 'Lost Boys' that carried Snow White back to their home. One boy stumbled, and the apple peace flew out of her mouth. Snow White was alive again!

She decided she had enough of all the conspiracies and lies. She would change the world for the better and be strong - no rescuers needed. Thus, Peter Pan returned her to the palace, where she started a peaceful reign that lasted ages.
