Three years had passed since the birth of Finnick and Arlea, and the Riddle family had never been happier. Their lives were full of love, laughter, and the occasional mischief that only toddlers could bring. Finnick and Arlea, now just a few months away from their third birthday, were walking confidently and exploring the world around them with endless curiosity.

Finnick's first word had been "Mama," much to Deya's delight. Arlea, on the other hand, had chosen "Dada" as her first word, which had melted Mattheo's heart completely. It was a running joke between them, the way their children had split their first words, but to Mattheo and Deya, it was the most adorable thing in the world.

Tomorrow was the day they had been eagerly awaiting—Deya and Mattheo's wedding day. They had planned every detail meticulously, from the guest list to the color scheme. Although they had finished their time at Hogwarts, they still kept in touch with a few professors who had been invited to the wedding. The excitement was palpable, yet there was a calm confidence between the couple that this was exactly where they were meant to be.

Following tradition, Deya and Mattheo had decided not to sleep together the night before the wedding. It felt strange not to have him by her side, but Deya knew it would make seeing him at the altar all the more special. The toddlers were spending the night with Pansy, who had eagerly volunteered to babysit, wanting to give the soon-to-be newlyweds a peaceful evening before their big day.

But neither Deya nor Mattheo could sleep. Instead, they sent each other notes through the Owl service, each message bringing a smile to the other's face.

Deya's Note:

My love,

It feels so strange not to have you here with me tonight. I miss you already, and I can't wait to see you at the end of the aisle tomorrow. I've been dreaming of this day for so long, and I still can't believe it's finally here. Thank you for being my everything, for giving me our beautiful children, and for making me the happiest woman in the world. Tomorrow, I'll walk down that aisle and say "I do" to forever with you. I love you, Mattheo.

Forever yours,

Deya x

Mattheo's Reply:

My dearest Deya,

It feels wrong not to be beside you tonight, but knowing that I'll see you walking toward me in your wedding dress tomorrow makes it all worth it. I miss you more than words can say. You and our little ones have given my life purpose, joy, and more love than I ever thought possible. Tomorrow, I'll be the luckiest man alive as I get to marry the love of my life. Sleep well, my love. I'll be thinking of you all night.

Yours always,

Mattheo x

Deya's Note:

My love,

I'm too excited to sleep. Can you believe that by this time tomorrow, we'll be husband and wife? I've been thinking about our journey, everything we've been through, and how far we've come. We've created something so beautiful together—our love, our family. I promise to cherish you, to stand by your side through everything, and to love you with all that I am. Tomorrow, and every day after.

All my love, always

Deya x
