Your POV:
"Y/N! Remember Karen? My best friend from high school?" My mom asked, excitement written on her face.
"Yeah. why?"
"She's coming to visit us for a week! She's bringing her husband and her son Mac!"
"Okay. When will they be here?"
"In an hour!"
One hour. I wish she could have told me earlier. Thanks mom. I ran upstairs to my bedroom to make myself look presentable. I put on some light makeup and curled my hair into loose curls. I threw on a white crop top with some high waisted shorts, then paired it with a light brown cardigan.
"Y/N! There here!" My mom called from downstairs. I fixed my hair one last time and made my way downstairs.
"Y/N, this is Karen!" My mom explained.
"You've grown so much Y/N! You're so gorgeous!"
"Thank you Auntie Karen!" I blushed.
"This is my husband Paul and-Mac! Come here for a minute."
"Yes mom?"
"This is Y/N. Y/N this is Mac."
Oh.my.shit. He's beautiful. He looks like he came straight out of tumblr to be honest.
My mom brought us all around our small fire to tell stories.
"I remember when Y/N and Mac were little, Mac used to always kiss Y/N goodbye whenever we visited." Karen said making every one "ooohhh" and "awww" causing Mac and I to blush.
"Y/N? Do you want to hang out in the living room?" Mac asked.
"Sure." I said. Mac is so attractive how could I say no? His smile was honestly so beautiful.
We both talked about ourselves, which seemed like thirty minutes but was really two hours.
"Y/N, you are a really beautiful girl." Mac said unexpectedly. Holy macaroni. This boy makes me feel isushhjdid in the inside.
"Thanks Mac, you're not so bad yourself" I said, knowing that my cheeks are probably a bright pink.
"I know we just officially met, but is their a possibility if we could... Maybe like.."
"Y/N! Mac!" My mom interrupted.
Seriously mom! Best timing ever!
"Yes?" We both said.
"S'mores time!" She yelled.
Mac and I both walked around the fire and sat on the bench next to each other. Karen gave marshmallows to Mac and I to roast.
"Y/N, can you pass me the chocolate and crackers please?" Mac asked.
I grabbed the piece of chocolate and two crackers.
"Here you go M-"
"Hahaha, sorry Y/N! I couldn't help it!"
That little piece of shit. He stuffed a marshmallow in my mouth. What a loser.
"Thanks Mac." I said sarcastically.
"No problem beautiful." He said and soon after winked.
This boy makes me dizzy. I think-no I know that I have feelings for him and I just met him 3 hours ago.
"Do you wanna go for a walk?" I asked Mac. Please say yes.
"Sure! Let's go." Mac said.
"Hey Mac, can I ask you something?" I said while we were walking down the street.
"Of course, go for it."
"What did you want to tell me earlier?"
"Oh that. Umm, just forget about it." Mac said hesitantly sighing afterwards.
"Seriously, what is it?"
"Well you see, I think you're a very special girl." He started, " I was wondering if you wanted to maybe go out on a date tomorrow? It's okay if you say no Y/N. I totally understand."
Am I dreaming? How could I say no.
"Sure, Harmon." I said screaming in the inside but keeping my cool on the outside.
"Kids!" My mom yells running up to us, "you guys walk so fast! I'm exhausted! Well, it's time to come back inside. It's time to party!" She exclaimed dancing toward the house.
"Don't mind my mom. She could be a little weird."
"Just like you." Mac said running up to my mom and dancing with her.
