A Fantasy Realm

Chapter 4

A/N - Sorry this was posted late, I actually changed the story a bit on chapter two and three. Anyways here is the fourth chapter so I hope you will like it.

We reached a plain field and on the distance, cloud island.

"Were almost there, look we can see it" Paula said as she he pointed at the clouds with some building on top.

The two of us ran until we reached the island it had three layers and the top had a tower on it.

"Alright, Paula do you know how to get on top of the first cloud?" I asked her. "Remember the pendant chief gave you?" She asked me. " Oh yeah!" I took the pendant and held it "I wish to fly" I said and a pair of wings grew behind my back.

"C'mon, lets go!" I said as I took her hand. She took it and we flew until we reached the first cloud. "Were here! We arrived!" Paula said.

~ Cloud island [first cloud] ~

We walked abit on the first cloud to see a village and on the middle was a giant beanstalk.

We asked the villagers who lived here and they said that beanstalk reaches up to the top cloud which is the tower. We asked more questions and the villager's didn't seem to mind.

The information we got? Here it is. First, dwellers cant come up here. Second the key is in this place which is on the very top of the cloud where the tower stands. Third the beanstalk reaches up to the top.

And lastly, it's very hard to take the key since a powerful creature is guarding the piece every day.

We thanked the villagers and went on top of the second cloud, where another village was there.

~ Cloud island [second cloud] ~

The houses were more luxurious than the village below us. We gathered more information about the creature above and they said this.

"The creature is strong, but kind. If you became friends with him there is a chance he will give you what you need. But do not betray him, because if you do luck won't be by your side for long" one of the villagers said.

Soon after we went to the giant beanstalk and went up to the third cloud. When we arrived a long tower awaited us. "Oh come on! Why do we have to climb a tall tower this time, im tired of walking!" Paula said.

I just chuckled and looked up "well, atleast yhis is the last one so lets go!" I said. We reached the door on the tower and as we went in a creature appeared.

~ Cloud island [third cloud, tower] ~

"What brings you here ladies?" The creature asked. The creature was a bit shorter than me and had a robe on his body.

(kinda like the Rome's outfit before I forgot what it was called but if its that then okay!)

"Hello, uhm we would like to take the piece of the enchanted key to help me-" I was about to finish when he said "help you go back to your realm right? I know" He said pointing inside "please come in, it's quite windy" he said and we entered.

The place was small but enough for one person to live here. We reached the top of the tower, it had an amazing view around.

"I was once part of your realm well ages ago but, I stayed here because I want to guard and help these people that I know rule" he said opening something.

He got the key and gave it to me. "Here, and I assume that you are not one of the queens dwellers are you?" He said.

"No, no of course not but why? Why would you give it to me so easily?" I asked and Paula too was shocked about him giving it to me.

"Because that key is magical I would say, that key can kill if you give it to our enemies, which are the dwellers and the queen. You will die along with the one you give it to" he said showing a slight smile.

"EHHHH??? KILL USS" Paula and I both said at the same time. "Yes, but only if you give it to the dwellers and the queen it will, but you won't do that wont you?" The creature tilted his head.

"Uh uh no of... Of course not we would never, right paula?" I asked her and she nodded. The creature then chuckled "Well now that you got what you need, I'm guessing its time for you to go home right?" He asked and we just nodded.

We thanked the creature deeply and we went home to give the first piece of the key to the elf.

~ Elves home ~

"The first piece! You did it I am so proud of you two, now get some rest because tomorrow I'll tell you where you're going next"

We nodded and said good night before we started heading to bed...
