Alright I got all my stuff packed
Double checked
Triple checked
Don't wanna forget anything important you know?
I got into NYU!
honestly, I didn't think I would get in! But i did and I'm thankful for that!
I will miss all my friends, and my dance group and mostly my family.
"Honey, you ready?" My mom came in my room. I'm gonna miss my room
"Yes" I sighed "gonna miss you mom" I hugged her "I'm gonna miss you too baby" she hugged me back
"My baby growing up!" She exclaimed "mom, I'm still your baby girl. No matter how old" I chuckle "I know. And you don't forget it OK?" She hugged me again "OK mom" I hug her
"There's the college girl!" My dad opens his arms and I run to hug him "gonna miss you baby girl" he says "gonna miss you too dad" I was always daddy's girl, and I don't deny it
"Sis!" My brother runs to me and attacks me in a hug "gonna miss you heaps baby bro" I say laughing
My brother and I we're close.
He's just starting high school and I'm starting college. See that age difference?
"Always call me OK?" He says and I laugh "every night" I nod as Hayley honks her car, signaling it's time for me to go. "Its time for me to go " we gather in a family hug
I look back and wave then get in hayley's car.

"How many hugs did you get?" Hayley asks as soon as I get in the car "I wasn't even counting" I laugh
"Look at us" she nods once "going to NYU" she finishes "yea, I wonder what will happen" I day smiling "look out NYU here we come!" She yells and starts the car "COLLEGE ADVENTURE" I yell and we both laugh.

NYU is a couple of hours from Boston. But we got there.
Hayley and I we're living in the same building but in different apartments cause our parents picked our roommates for us. I don't think they knew Mason was a guy. I laughed at the thought while climbing the last stairs to my apartment. Hayley's apartment is a few flies down from mine so I had to walk up more stairs.
I knocked on the door. Setting my suitcase down. The door swang open to reveal a modeling looking guy. My jaw almost dropped when I saw him
"Are you gonna talk or stand there looking stupid" he says and I snapp out if it
"Hi I'm Lacy, your new roommate" I put on my fake smile "oh that's you! Explains the suitcase" is he really that stupid?!
"Yes it does, now are you gonna let me in or stand there looking stupid?" I asked quoting his words "well played " he moved out of the way letting me in
The placing was big and modern. Its was clean considering that he looks like a messy guy. The walls were white and the furniture was white and black. I was really imperesd.
"You done gwaking? Your room is the last one in the right" he says walking past me. I huffed and walked to my room.
It was mid sized. Big windows. A book shelf and a closet. There was a queen sized bed, that impressed me.
I say down on the bed and unzipped my suitcase, taking out my books first and putting them on the bookshelf above the bed. Then my clothes, putting them on the bed I went and opened the closet.
It was pretty roomy. I went and arranged my shoes.
As I was arranging my clothes. Mason bagged in.
"Do you ever knock?" I say sarcasticaly "whatever. I'm bout to oder some Chinese,want some?" He asked his hands in his pocket "sure, order whatever for me" I say still arranging my clothes "OK" he said and walked out, closing the door behind him.
I changed into some more comfortable clothes and went out into the leaving room.
As I was eating I was texting my brother.
"Who you texting" Mason asks "my brother" I say not looking up from my phone.
"You know we have to talk cause we're roommates right?" He says "we're talking right now" I say still not looking up from my poo phone "stop texting, and let's play 20 questions" he says and my head snapps up
"What are you a child?" I look at him "yes" he smiles cheekly at me "whatever, you ask the question" I sigh
"Favorite colors?" He asks
"Really?" I frown
"I wanna start off simple " he shrugged
"Fine. Mint green,baby blue and red. Yours?" I say
"Black, red and white. Favorite food?" He asks
"Grilled cheese. You?" I say bored
" same thing. Favorite dessert?" He asks
"Red velvet cake" I say
"Cheese cake. Favorite basketball team?" He asks
"Golden state warriors" I say
"San Antonio spurs..."
I have to admit it was funny in the end. We had a lot in common and he asked some challengeing questions and some inappropriate ones.
Lets just say today was a good start.
