Cheeks fully curved with a tint of rouge,
A smile that's sweet, yet hides the ruse.
Your laughter sings, but your words mislead,
Behind that charm, lies a subtle greed.

Is this love, or just another lie in your eyes?
Is this lust, though you seem so kind and nice?
A trick of my mind, or your dazzling charm?
A graceful walk, with a gaze so warm.

Mazes rise, confusion clouds my eyes,
You seem so wise, with your tricks and lies.
A voice that warms, but your desires stray,
Leading me down, a darker treacherous way.

Each word you speak, seems like a disguise,
Prettified promises, my trust denies.
Promises made, but are they true?
I wonder if I really know you.

So here we stand, on a line so thin,
Friends we’ll remain, where truth can win.
