As they left the meeting room, Taehyung's expression turned stern. "Hyung, we need to talk."
Yoongi looked at him warily. "What's up, Tae?"
Taehyung folded his arms. "Your behavior in that meeting was unacceptable. You know we had a plan, but you went off on your own tangent again."
Yoongi shrugged. "I just got excited, Tae. It won't happen again."
Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "See that it doesn't. Because next time, there will be consequences."
Yoongi looked at him skeptically. "Consequences? What are you going to do, Tae? Ground me?"
Taehyung's expression turned serious. "Actually, that's not a bad idea. You're grounded, hyung. No going out with the members for a week."
Yoongi's eyes widened in outrage. "What?! Tae, that's not fair!"
Taehyung stood firm. "It's fair. You need to learn to follow the plan and respect the team's time. Now, let's go home and I'll make sure you stay there."
Yoongi pouted, but eventually nodded. "Fine. But this is so unfair, Tae."
Taehyung just smiled. "Life's not fair, hyung. But it's good for you to learn some discipline."
As they walked home, Yoongi continued to grumble under his breath, but Taehyung just ignored him, knowing that the punishment was necessary.
When they arrived home, Taehyung made sure to enforce Yoongi's punishment. He took away his phone and keys, and made him stay in his room.
Yoongi was furious, but Taehyung stood firm. "You need to learn to follow the rules, hyung," he said.
Yoongi paced back and forth in his room, feeling trapped and frustrated. He couldn't believe Taehyung was doing this to him.
But as the hours passed, Yoongi began to calm down and reflect on his behavior. He realized that Taehyung was right - he had been selfish and irresponsible.
Just as Yoongi was starting to feel sorry for himself, he heard a knock at the door. It was Taehyung, with a tray of food and a stern expression.
"Eat your dinner, hyung," Taehyung said. "And don't think about trying to escape. I've locked the doors and windows."
Yoongi rolled his eyes, but took the tray from Taehyung. "Thanks, Tae," he muttered.
Taehyung turned to leave, but then paused. "And hyung?"
"Yeah?"
"Next time, just listen to me, okay?"
Yoongi looked up, feeling a pang of regret. "Okay, Tae. I will."
Taehyung nodded, then left the room, leaving Yoongi to his dinner and his thoughts.
The next day, Yoongi was still grounded, but Taehyung brought him his favorite breakfast - a bowl of hot, spicy ramen.
Yoongi's eyes lit up as he took the bowl from Taehyung. "Thanks, Tae. You're a lifesaver."
Taehyung smiled slightly. "Just eat your breakfast, hyung. And don't think about trying to escape again."
Yoongi chuckled and took a sip of the ramen, feeling the spicy broth warm his belly. "I wouldn't dream of it, Tae."
As he ate, Yoongi couldn't help but feel grateful for Taehyung's care and concern. He knew he had been a handful lately, but Taehyung was always there to rein him in.
Just then, Taehyung's phone buzzed. He answered it, listened for a moment, and then hung up.
"What's up, Tae?" Yoongi asked, noticing the serious look on his face.
Taehyung sighed. "It's the manager. He's not happy about your behavior at the meeting yesterday."
Yoongi groaned, feeling a sense of dread. "What did he say?"
Taehyung hesitated. "He wants to see us both in his office. Now."
Yoongi's heart sank. He knew he was in trouble.
Yoongi and Taehyung arrived at the manager's office, looking like two schoolboys in trouble. The manager, a stern-looking man with a thick beard, gestured for them to sit down.
"So, Yoongi," he began, his voice firm but controlled. "I hear you've been having some issues with following the plan and respecting the team's time."
Yoongi looked down, feeling a twinge of guilt. "I'm sorry, sir. It won't happen again."
The manager raised an eyebrow. "See that it doesn't. Because next time, there will be consequences. And not just for you, but for the whole team."
Taehyung spoke up, his voice calm and measured. "I take full responsibility, sir. I should have kept a closer eye on him."
The manager nodded, his expression softening slightly. "I appreciate that, Taehyung. But Yoongi needs to learn to take responsibility for himself."
Yoongi nodded, feeling a surge of determination. "I will, sir. I promise."
The manager nodded, seeming to accept this. "Good. Now, let's move on to the next project. I want to see a marked improvement from you, Yoongi."
Yoongi nodded again, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He knew he had a second chance, and he was determined to make the most of it.
As they left the office, Taehyung turned to him and whispered, "You owe me one, hyung."
Yoongi grinned, feeling a sense of gratitude towards his younger brother. "I know, Tae. Thanks for having my back."
From that day on, Yoongi made a concerted effort to listen to Taehyung and follow the plan. He knew he couldn't do it alone, and he was grateful for his brother's guidance and support.
As the days turned into weeks, Yoongi noticed a change within himself. He was more confident, more focused, and more determined than ever before.
Taehyung noticed the change too, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had helped his brother grow and improve, and he knew that their bond was stronger than ever.
One day, as they were working on a project together, Yoongi turned to Taehyung and said, "Thanks, Tae. I don't know what I would do without you."
Taehyung smiled, feeling a sense of warmth and connection. "You'll never have to find out, hyung. I'll always be here for you."
And with that, the two brothers continued to work together, side by side, as a team.
