Part - 16 ♡

" Our story will start from tomorrow, My Moonlight."

Yousuf was standing in balcony that's when, Iseul came near to him and asked, " You are still awake." Yousuf looked at Iseul and replied with smile, " I was about to go, by the way why you are still awake?" Iseul replied, " I thought to check on you before I go to sleep. I'm so happy for you my child. Finally you will get your love. "

Yousuf smiled and replied, " You know what Eomma, I just want to give her whole world's happiness. I just want to love her the way no man ever loved someone. She deserves the world, My Noorie."

Iseul were looking at her son with adorable eyes. When Yousuf notices his Eomma's reaction, he looked down at the ground being shy. Iseul cupped his face with one hand and said, " May God keep you always happy like this. Now go and sleep. Tomorrow is one of the biggest day of your life. Good night, sleep well." Yousuf smiled and said, " Ameen Suma Ameen, and you too." Then Iseul left from there and Yousuf went to sleep.

It was a beautiful morning, sunrays entered inside the room through balcony. Yousuf was busy in reciting the Qur'an. After that He closed the Qur'an and keep it aside. His face was more brighter than morning. He is smiling like an idiot. Then he sat on the edge of bed and said, " When will evening come, I just can't wait to see my Moonlight, let me go outside to check the preparation." Saying this he came out from his room. He was wearing comfy clothes.

He came downstairs and saw his mother was busy in kitchen, he went towards her mother and said, " As-salamu-alaikum Eomma." " Wa-Alaikum-Salam, my child, how are you?" Iseul asked while she's still doing the work.

Yousuf smiled and replied, " Allahmdullilah I'm fine, Is breakfast ready or should I help you in this?" Iseul looked at Yousuf with a shocked look and asked, " You??" Yousuf nodded his head and Iseul laughed a little and said, " Stop joking Taehyung." Yousuf made a dramatic look and said, " Don't make fun of me, I'm not like that old, I can help you in kitchen too and in everything ok."

Iseul nodded her head and said while being a little dramatic, " Okk, Captain." Yousuf also laughed at her Eomma's response then, Iseul asked, " Taehyung, why did you decide to keep a simple wedding, I only have two children, my daughter got married without me and you are doing but very simple. You are getting married to Your dream girl, the girl you wanted in your life then why are not you making it a grand and memorable wedding, why so simple?"

Yousuf smiled and replied, " Because according to Islam, wedding should be simple." Iseul asked while joining her eyebrows, " Can you explain?" Yousuf smiled and said,

" Nikah is the noblest Sunnah performed by Holy Prophet Muhammad (PB.U.H.) in his life. As we are the believers of Allah and belong to the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.), we are obliged to follow his actions and words. He conveyed to all the believers that Nikah is that Sunnah which brings a believer closer to Imaan. Hence, it should be fulfilled with the most simplicity and performed without and pomp and extravaganza.

Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) said, "A woman is married for four things; her wealth, family status, beauty, and religion. Choose a religious woman if you want to prosper". (Sahih Bukhari)

He also said, "When someone with whose religion and character you are satisfied asks to marry your daughter, comply with his request. If you do not do so, there will be corruption and great evil on earth".

You see that the simple parameters of choosing a bride and a groom have already been told to us in Qur'an. Yet, we try to seek spouses to fulfil our worldly pleasures. Our first priority is wealth and beauty because those things are important for our social status. We think of Nikah as a business deal where the real Sunnah is covered by our greed.
