Thursday, April sixth.
"Come sit with us pleaseee" Rein whined as Nehemiah was refusing to sit with all of the cheerleaders at lunch, they had eighth period lunch together surprising them both since Nehemiah always went to the library for lunch.
'No rein' Nehemiah declined the request 'you know how i am around people.' She signed to rein who was understanding the language of sign, she huffed holding her tray in her hand.
"Just for today and i promise you won't have to sit with me again, i want you to meet the squad!" Rein walked with Nehemiah who accepted that, they both went towards the table where almost every girl and cheer boy from the team sat along the lunch table.
Rein being the cheer captain she say in the middle the long table where everyone greeted her.
"Scoot over Jakayla," rein said for neh to sit next to her, she moved without a problem letting Nehemiah sitting near rein, she looked down the table as everyone's eyes were on her.
"Everybody, this is my friend neh but y'all call her Raye." Rein introduced to the girl eating the donuts rein had gave her, everyone waved. "She has selective mutism guys so be nice."
"Neh this is Jakayla, This is ocean, This is Yanis and this is Temiyah." Rein introduced Nehemiah to the people she was sitting closer to.
"Hey boo, you cute." Temiyah smiled at Nehemiah who sat next to her, Nehemiah smiled back at the girl avoiding her eyes. "You gay as fuck" ocean laughed at her best friend "don't mind her she don't know how to control herself"ocean told Nehemiah who nodded.
"How old is she?" The boy— Yanis averted his hand at Nehemiah. "She's sixteen, my age but she's older."
"Ohh so you a junior?" Ocean asked chewing on her chicken nuggets, Nehemiah nodded pressing down own her hair as it was slicked back into two ponytails.
"Why we can't call her neh?"
Nehemiah jerked her head back shooting a eye at charm who was crossing her arms, she smirked remembering her face as she tried and checked Nehemiah in front of everyone in the hallway, it was up with her since then.
The girl had been shooting nasty looks at her every time she saw her in the hallway with mel, Nehemiah was getting her get back soon if course, this was her second strike. "Mind your business charm and go talk to melo." Rein said talking about her brother, everybody except ocean laughed at the table knowing she was one of his hoes.
