"Mia! You can't just forget about the love of your life!" Bella complains.

"Love isn't really important right now. And weren't you the one saying that I should forget about him?" I question Bella.

She looks down at the floor, and bites her lip. "Umm, maybe... But that was before he apologized! He's different now, come on Mia! You won't know unless you try," Bella says.

"Wait, how does this Taylor guy look like?" Shawn asks me.

"I'll show you," I say while grabbing my phone from my pocket. I open up Instagram and search for "taylorcaniff". "He looks like this," I say while showing Shawn a recent picture.

"Taylor Caniff?!" Shawn asks.

"Yeah, why?" I ask. "Do you know him?"

"He's my friend's cousin. We've talked. He always mentions this girl named Emily-"

"When was the last time you talked to him?" I ask.

"Um, two nights ago?" Shawn asks confused.

"And what'd he say?" I ask hoping for some good news.

"He said," Shawn looks through his phone for the messages. "Idk what to say to her. She's drop dead gorgeous, but slutty. I like her, but this other girl has my heart. I always catch her walking down the hall and I can't help but stare and feel regret for what I did."

Shawn hands me his phone and I look through the messages.

Shawn: Bro don't give up on her. I'm sure she'll fall for you again if you show her you actually mean it. But you can't just say "oh wait I like Emily" or go to her when you feel like girl #2 is taking things slow. I mean, technically you're not supposed to lose it till you're married.

I look at the messages once more and hand Shawn back his phone. "I'm girl #2. Shawn, maybe I don't want to be with him. He broke my heart, it took me a month just to be able to see him. He was my first love, and I don't know if he deserves another chance."

"He doesn't mess around with me. I know he's telling the truth Mia. Try it," Shawn says.

"You two are supposed to be helping me push him away, not pull him in!" I yell and run off to my room.

I lock the door to my room and enter the bathroom in my room. I lock the door and bring out my phone. I quickly dial the number and they answer.

"Hello?" They ask.

"Can we talk please?" I ask not using my normal voice.

"Mia?" They ask.

"No, Emily silly goose," I say, faking to be Emily.
