Elizabeth Hospital
"Dr. Zayne, look the flowers are blooming." the girl on the wheelchair calmly pointing towards a tree above them.
"..."
The doctor keep silent while pushing the wheelchair slowly. The look of disappointment is obvious.
"Dr. Zayne?"
He let out a big sigh then speak up to the girl. "Esther, I told you I'm not Dr. Zayne."
"Oh, you're not..." The girl frown. Slowly, her face lit up with a smile and look up to the doctor again. "Then, you must be Xavier. You saved me from the Wanderer that attack me at the ward."
"... I'm not Xavier either. And the patient is not a 'Wanderer'." the doctor answer calmly and stop pushing the wheelchair, parking it infront of the hospital pond.
"Rafayel, do you miss the fish already? Didn't you said the other day that the fish was super fat?" The girl giggle as she talk to the air while watching the pond.
The doctor couldn't help but look at the girl pitifully.
It's almost a year since Esther May was admitted to the hospital due to her having a rare disease.
Fatal Familial Insomnia more likely known as FFI. A rare disease which made the patient is unable to fall asleep. The effects are varies. Total insomnia, hallucinating, dementia, muscle spasm and more. There's no cure for this disease.
Esther check her pocket, searching for something. As she didn't find the thing she's looking for, she look up to the doctor behind her.
"Dr. Adam, where's my phone..?" She ask and look at the doctor with tired eyes.
The doctor softly smile and take out her phone from his white coat. He is glad. She still remember him.
"Fortunately, I brought it. You left it on your bed." He said calmly and hand the phone to her.
She happily take the phone from him, unlocking it and log into her favourite game.
"Ah, look! You look just like Zayne." Esther turn around and shows her phone to the doctor. He narrow his eyes jokingly to her.
"He don't look that attractive." He replied, crossing his arms.
Esther gasp and hug her phone.
"How dare you say that, you'll hurt his feelings!"
She turn around sulkily and continue playing her 'cringy' game. Yup, that's how the doctor described it. He just chuckle softly.
"Wanna go back to your room?" Dr. Adam asks softly in which Esther nod her head in response while focusing on the game. A slight thought of her slip in his mind.
If only she could give her attention to him just like how she paid attention to her doctor in game...
Nah, that's impossible. She's a patient of him. He can't do that. But what about the feelings he had ever since their high school..?

Esther carefully lie on the bed with the help of Dr. Adam.
"Dr. Adam, I'm tired..." She complains as she feel extremely tired yet she still plays her phone.
"You've been saying that ever since your first day here." He replied.
Esther chuckle tiredly to his words.
"I know. It's been a year since I haven't get any sleep. Will I be able to sleep tonight..?"
