*3 months later*

She has seen the Daily Prophet, she has seen what Harry went through after she saved Sirius. And although she has seen all these, Harry hasn't talked about it through her letters. He's always asking if she's okay and she knows he does it to show he cares, but it's driving her crazy.

He wanted to stay with her, but she has begged her to go with Sirius. She knows how much he has been looking forward to this moment, and she didn't want to take it away from him. He kept saying that he didn't want to leave her alone, but Molly also said how they would keep her safe for him.

She knows he's been with Sirius this summer, taking care of the time they have lost and finally being able to be together like they wanted to for so long. But she still missed him. She has been staying at The Burrow ever since that day that everything came to life and that everyone knows everything about her.

The Weasley's were beautiful people and she understands now why Harry was so fond of them. She appreciates everything they've done for her for the past months.

But she misses home, she misses her parents.

It's been 3 months of stress, of sadness, of desperation, of feeling helpess.

Yes, she saved Sirius, yes she should be dead, but she's not. She could save Sirius but she couldn't save her parents. It was driving her insane.

She wanted nothing more than to get out of that house and search for them, save them from something that was her own fault.

But with everyone being with her 24/7 it was not helping. She didn't have one single moment alone, thankfully only when she was in the bathroom taking a shower. But apart from that, she was never ever alone.

And she understands that everyone has their best intentions of keeping her safe, but she couldn't handle it anymore. She needs to save her parents before it's too late.

Maybe it already was, but there was a small feeling of hope in her heart that they were still alive.

Tonight, Evelyn decided to go outside for a walk. It was dark, but she had her wand and could see from the small light coming out of it.

Before she could even step outside the house though, she heard a very familiar owl coming from the kitchen.

Harry never told her he was coming.

She went towards the sound and indeed saw Hedwig and Harry's trucks.

"Molly? When did Harry get here?" She asked, making Molly appear from the stairs, just as confused as she was.

"I think I would know if Harry Potter was in my house." She said.

"Did someone say Harry?" Ron asked.

"Is he upstairs with you Ron?" Eve asked.

"I would know if my best friend was in the room with me."

"Is that an owl I heard?" Hermione asked next, making Eve smile a bit bigger this time. Harry must be here.

"You haven't seen him have you? Apparently he's been wandering around the house-"

"Really?"

"Really." Harry suddenly said behind her. She almost lost her balance after the shock of hearing his voice, but he catch her before she could fall. "Sorry love, didn't mean to scare you." He said as he helped her stand up better and hugged her tightly. She has missed this.

"I'm so glad you're back." She whispered, as he separated just a bit from the embrace, just to attach his lips to hers. He has missed this, the taste of her lips, the beating of her heart.

"Harry!" Hermione said as she practically made them separate and hugged him.

Ron came next as well as the rest of the Weasley's but Harry never left Evelyn's hand from his.

Hermione finally noticed it "Okay, we'll give you guys a moment..." She said as she took Ron's hand so he would leave too, because he was complaning how he hasn't seen his best friend either and wanted to be with him.

"We'll serve you dinner too Harry!" Molly said as she left too, giving them some space.

They didn't say anything for a moment, just hugged again, feeling each others presence after what felt like the logest vacations of Evelyn's life.

"I'm happy to see you."

"Me too..." Although she didn't sound convinced. She was a bit happier, but not as happy as Harry.

"What's wrong?" He asked, "I thought you would be excited to see me?"

Eve couldn't help but feel like she messed up. "Sorry- sorry, I am happy to see you." But Harry wasn't believing her.

"I know it has been hard, although you don't tell me in the letters..."

"Harry- it's fine-"

"Before I came inside, I saw you with your wand, you where going outside. What or why where you going outside exactly?"

"It's nothing- I just wanted to walk-"

"At night?"

She felt like a baby. Like someone who couldn't protect herself. She made it pretty clear when she saved Sirius AND survived that she was able to protect herself.

"I think I'm more than capable to protect myself!" She said, finally letting it out. She was now feeling overwhelmed. She was happy to see Harry but she was angry that the first conversation they were having was him accusing her of running away. She wanted to though, but she wasn't going to do it.

"You have no idea what the death eaters are capable of Eve."

"You think I don't? You think I have no idea that they are torturing my parents as we speak?!" She was tired of it. She was tired of everyone treating her like she was uselsess. She was tired of feeling useless. She was tired of being here and not being able to be with her parents.

"Eve-"

"No! You have no idea what's been like this summer. You have no idea what I've been through. You just can't come here and assume what I'm feeling-"

"I'm not assuming. I can feel it too, remember?"

"How can I forget?!" She said, pushing him away, since he was trying to hug her again, trying to calm her down but she was having an anxiety attack. He could feel it building up and he was sad that he was the caused of this. "How can I forget that you're feeling what I'm feeling? How can I even know what I'm feeling when I think I'm feeling what you're feeling? You feel guilty, you feel like you did this, but it was actually my fault. It's my own fault that they got kidnapped, it's my fault that they are suffering-"

She chocked on her words, the tears streaming down her face and she couldn't stop them. It felt as though she couldn't breathe properly.

When she stopped fighting him, Harry hold her hands in his, spreading warmth on them once more and pulling her to an embrace. "Shhh feel my heartbeat. Try to breathe at the same time as me."

It was completely silence for the next few minutes, Evelyn could listen to Harry's heartbeat perfectly. She tried to copy it and at first it was difficult, but then she was able to do it.

She felt Harry's hand brushing her hair gently, his chest meeting with her face when he breathed.

"There you go... it's okay." He whispered, putting his chin on the top of her head. "You're okay."

She wrapped her arms around his waist, not wanting to let go. This is what she needed.

"Dinner's ready!" They heard Molly say, interrupting their moment but Evelyn was okay now.

"I'm actually very hungry, shall we go?" Harry said, showing a small smile, feeling glad that he could help her, although he still felt guilty because her attack started when he accused her of leaving.

He should know better, Evelyn would never do that. This was hard for her, but it was a process that he would gladly go through with her every step of the way.
