Visenya is the child of Akatosh and Dibella the divines of Aetherius. They placed her as the one to oversee Nirn among mortals and even helps write out Elder Scrolls for prophecies and many events that are predicted.
Her gifts are often taken advantage of since she was a child. She too has a dragon form like her father does. But not many mortals of Nirn have even realize she is a daughter of two divines as she tends to temples dedicated to her parents.
Visenya is described as a free spirit and sometimes sarcastic when she is mocked. Overall she is kindhearted and provides healing to those who are afflicted by diseases. But those who were devoted to her mother often try to confide with Visenya and coercing her to sleep with them to please Dibella. But her mother always intervenes each time.
Visenya also did have a small relationship with Alduin as she often had meet him in dragon form. But when she realized what his intentions were during the Dragon War, she had no choice but to fight him. Even though he wounded her badly during the fight,
Over time she stayed in Aetherius to recover and heal. Many refer to her as Alduin's Remorse as she did love him. Even for centuries she lived with regret that she didn't see what evil lurked in his mind and what his intentions were.
The other times she's reappeared were during the mid Second Era in the midst of the Three Banners War. Even centuries later before Talos took reign, she disappears again to protect the strings of time. Thus she had to carry out tasks in Aetherius.
She reappeared in the Fourth Era at the time of the Last Dragonborn to appear. She visited her old friend Paarthurnax on the top of the Throat of the World. She carries a pot of water while making a fire to have tea with him. Something she occasionally does.
Visenya does use two different faces when she appears. She is described to have silver blonde hair, pale skin and purple eyes. But her true form is a dragon. She also takes form of a young Breton woman when she appears on Nirn.
