Yeosang's hand rose and fell again. The darkness of the corridor literally swallowed him up. He knew it was already late, but he couldn't help it. He raised his hand again and finally knocked.

The brown wooden door in front of him opened just a few seconds later. Yeosang exhaled with relief as he looked into Jongho's brown eyes. "Hey, what are you doing here?" Jongho asked in surprise and immediately made space for Yeosang to enter the room. "Wooyoung isn't here right now anyway, come in."

Light and warmth enveloped Yeosang and the door slammed shut behind them. "So what are you doing here?" Jongho repeated his question and Yeosang could see him looking at him with concern. "I just wanted to see you," Yeosang sighed. He took a step forward, then fell into Jongho's arms.

Jongho didn't hesitate to return his hug. Yeosang closed his eyes, savoring the warmth and breathing in Jongho's scent. He was so tired and exhausted. The last few days had been so emotionally draining. Every day they had visited someone from the list and tomorrow was the day. The day they would visit Jongho's brother. Yeosang hadn't told Jongho, but he couldn't help but come here in the middle of the night and hug Jongho one last time before everything would fall apart.

Jongho's hands gently stroked Yeosang's back. They stood there for a few minutes and no one said a word, then Yeosang slowly pulled away. He looked at Jongho with a smile. "Thank you," he said. He hoped that Jongho understood what he was thanking him for. Jongho's hand moved to the back of Yeosang's neck, then he pulled him closer. Everything inside Yeosang tingled as they kissed gently. In those few seconds, he could finally forget everything.

All too quickly, the kiss ended again. Jongho looked at him. "Has something happened?" he asked, sensing how tense and nervous Yeosang was. "No." Yeosang spoke and smiled gently at Jongho. "I promise you everything will be fine," Yeosang mumbled, then he let his forehead fall against Jongho's.

Yeosang bit his lower lip so hard that he could already taste the metallic taste of blood. His fingers clawed at his pants. His legs wobbled nervously on the car seat. With every kilometer they passed, the pressure became more unbearable. It was as if something was pressing against his head. He had no idea what was going to happen.

Yeosang looked desperately at San, whose eyes were fixed on the road. "The next person we're going to see is April Adison," San explained when he recognized Yeosang's penetrating gaze. A crease formed on Yeosang's forehead. "But wasn't Hansol Vernon Chew the next on the list?" Yeosang would never forget that name.

San sighed as he turned into the next street. "The girl originally owed us the money. She was going to use it to make millions in a casino." San laughed sarcastically. "I could have told her up front that she was going to fail." Yeosang tilted his head. San's laughter disappeared when he spotted Yeosang's serious look.
"Anyway, this guy came..."

"Vernon?" Yeosang interrupted him. San nodded. "Anyway, he wanted to change the deal so we'd leave her alone." San laughed lightly again, even though Yeosang didn't know what was funny about it, he tried to get more answers out of San as unobtrusively as possible. "Let's just say we don't care which of those two idiots gives us the money, as long as they pay."

San sighed again. Yeosang's gaze wandered out of the window. "How much do they owe us?" he asked thoughtfully. "250 million won." Yeosang looked at San in shock. "That much?" he asked incredulously. San nodded as if it were a normal amount and turned into a small side street.

"If they pay the money, will we leave them alone?" Yeosang asked when the car had stopped. San raised an eyebrow. "Why are you asking so many questions?" he asked, slightly annoyed. He reached for his things, then got out. Yeosang narrowed his eyes. He reached for his black cap and pulled it on. Then he grabbed his leather jacket and got out as well.
