In the quiet of a twilight room,
Where shadows stretch and whisper loom,
I wandered through a maze of glass,
And saw my dreams as they did pass.A bridge I crossed in evening's breath,
Where echoes played with hints of death,
I walked with steps both soft and slow,
Through empty halls where silence grows. The mirror showed a stranger’s face,
A hollow mask in empty space,
I yearned to shed this borrowed skin,
To find the self I hid within.I brushed against the fleeting night,
And watched the stars lose their light,
My hands, they trembled on the rail,
As distant winds began to wail.I reached for something not yet known,
A path that’s forged but not yet shown,
A place where morning’s warmth may fade,
Yet where the night, its vows is made.I wished to be a man, a name,
To cast aside this endless shame,
To leave behind this aching skin,
And find the self I’ve yearned to win.The shadowed corners sang their song,
Of rights that seemed so cruelly wrong,
And in the twilight’s dim embrace,
I longed to find a safer place. In dreams I wore a different guise,
A vision free from ghostly ties,
But in the dawn, as daylight swells,
I ponder on the stories told. The world outside remains so vast,
Yet here I dwell, a lonely cast,
In spaces where the echoes call,
I wish to rise, or simply fall.So as the twilight fades away,
And darkness claims the end of day,
I choose to end this silent strife,
And drift away from fractured life.
