Dressed in a simple grey dress, I watch the blushing bride adorned in white lace walk down the aisle.
After a last minute invitation from Tessa, I found myself standing at the back of the church by the back door, clutching a tear stained tissue as I watched the ceremony play out.
I watch as the bride joins Theo at the altar.
I watch as the officiant introduces them to the guests.
I watch as Theo exchanges vows with the bride.
I watch as Theo is declared husband to a woman that isn't me.
I quietly push the door open, and I feel the almost forgotten heat of his stare against my skin.
And I feel it trickle away as I exit the church as the wedding bells ring out with each step.
