12 hours later, Undisclosed location.

The dark room lit up as the two women entered through their respective doors and sat facing each other at the dark conference table. They eyed each other with clear hostility, but kept to themselves. A few moments passed in the chilly room. The women, unfazed by the chill, turned at the sound of The Chairman's door opening. "I see you two haven't killed each other yet. I'm counting that as a plus." He addressed the two women as he took his seat at the head of the table. "Report." He simply commanded.

"You go first Carrey." Jessica started placing a large, leather bound briefcase on the table. "I need to find something first."

"If you insist." Carrey let a cold smile pass over her lips. "There really isn't much to say by way of the interrogation. Jeremy Silver is locked up tighter than a bank vault. I actually recommend giving him some time to recover in order to continue, otherwise he may die on us." She pulled up a few videos on the table and slid them over to The Chairman to watch. His eyes watched them impassively. "We even gave him truth serum, but that didn't work any easier than electroshock therapy."

"I agree. He needs time to recover." A little irritation escaped as he responded, but quickly regained his impassive demeanor. "And what did you find?" His deadly gaze looked up at Jessica.

"I was looking through the archives about something that had been bugging me. And I came across something strange. Something that caught my attention." She laid a flash drive on the table, making a white ring encircle it. "This is all the information on what I found." She placed her hand on the table and squares appeared next to the flash drive. "A hit we ordered, but the assassin never reported back." She pulled a picture of Slaughter out and enlarged it. The Chairman leaned forward in his seat.

"I remember him. He was Slayer's twin."

"Yes, and he never reported back on the hit. The target was a family who became uncooperative, no loose ends." She pulled up a picture of a family, the middle aged parents stood behind a small boy and an early teens girl. "The Lucassen family was found in the rubble of their home 10 years ago. The only thing that didn't add up was the body of the little boy was never recovered. There were four bodies recovered though. The mother, father, daughter, and an unidentified adult male." She brought up a video taken from a news report timestamped 6/15/2006 5:16 PM. The voice of the brunette standing in front of the camera filled the room, accompanied by the sound of sirens and other random noises, as she pressed play.

"Today has been a tragedy for the small town of Rocky Springs. Today at about 4:30 PM a tremendous explosion rocked the quiet suburbs. The firefighters and police arrived on scene shortly after. Barely anything was left of the house, but four bodies were recovered. Badly charred and barely discernible, they await a trip to the city morgue where they will be identified. Stay tuned for further updates. Back to you George." She tapped the table and the video stopped. She moved the family picture into view and enlarged it, replacing the video.

The picture sat there for a few seconds. Carrey let out a annoyed grunt. "Is there more?"

"There is actually." She zoomed in on the little boy, his small, pale face filled the screen. The slate eyes stared at the camera curiously, and a bright smile filled his face with light. "The boy. Just before Henri went dark he sent me a picture." She tapped a few times and another picture joined the boy's. This one had a boy, maybe 18 to 20 years, standing next to a girl approximately the same age.

A small gasp escaped from Carrey. "Isn't that Kaitlyn?"

"It is." The Chairman confirmed. "But I'm sure he sent it here because of the boy. Not his daughter. Zoom in." He commanded. Jessica obliged.

"The picture came with one word." Carrey and The Chairman looked at her. "Silhouette."

"Let me borrow the USB for the time being." The Chairman stood up and faced Carrey. "And Jessica, bring me the file on the Lucassen family." He then turned his attention to Carrey, dismissing Jessica. She left the USB on the table, the info having already retreated back into the plastic container, and left the room the way she came. "Carrey, give Mr. Silver the needed time to recover, but not a moment more. In the meantime I want you to compile a list of viable candidates to replace the two fallen Collective members. Also one for Henri if he does not show." He reached over and swept the USB off the table and tucked it into his inside suit pocket. "Project Atlantis must not fail." With that he left the room, slamming his door behind him.

"Lovely." She left the room through her door, prompting the lights to cut out. The black room once again plunged into darkness.
