"Where do you think the kid would be hiding?" Scott asked as he looked towards Logan. Logan sniffed the air and caught your scent again, running towards it quickly as Scott ran after him. A loud crash was heard in the hallway nearest the living quarters as gasps followed. Logan and Scott running faster at the noise, hearing students nearby. You could be seen looking at the students but not defensive around them like the adults. Only inspect their hands and faces as you stay close to them. Your ears perked as you heard heavy footsteps coming closer quickly, turning around and taking your claws out. Protecting the students behind you as you spread your arms out in front of them slightly, glaring at the two men approaching.
The students backed away slightly as the two men approached, avoiding the oncoming fight between you and them. "Easy kid, easy..." Logan spoke as he stopped in front of you, raising his hands up slowly in surrender as Scott followed in suit. Scott's eyes darted to the students and you as he noticed your protective nature over the kids. "Listen kid, you need to calm down. We're just here to talk." Logan said firmly but quietly, trying to maintain a calm and authoritative tone while choosing his words carefully. You swung a fist at him, swatting your clawed hand at him swiftly as you stood in front of the nervous students, growling at the men. Scott and Logan backed away slightly at your action, standing defensively as they avoided your attack. "Whoa, kid! Hold on a sec-" Scott spoke but was interrupted by you taking another swing. "Don't do anything rash, alright? We don't want anyone getting hurt..." Logan said as he stepped closer to you cautiously.
You crouched defensively and got ready to charge the men, your breathing slightly heavy as you built up spread your arms wider in front of the group of students. However, soon a soft hand made its way to your head and a voice spoke, "Sleep..." The voice commanded and you fell to the ground. Professor X caught you by the back of your gown and prevented you from hitting the floor harshly, waving the men over and ushering the students away from the scene. "Professor?!" Scott and Logan yelled out as they walked over quickly. Logan picked you up carefully, laying your head on his shoulder as he looked back over to the Professor.
"What's going on? Is everything ok?" Scott asked as he looked towards Xavier, noticing how Logan picked you up carefully, giving him a warned look. The two men looked towards the professor as his gaze fell back to you. "We have a lot to discuss, especially about the boy's relations....."
