AYA'S POV

"Tara, Yabu tayo." yaya ni Cole. Mukhang kanina pa sya gutom na gutom.

"Let's go." I responded.

We went there pretty quickly and had to wait in line as there are people on queue pa. We waited not very long naman. As soon as we had our seats, we called the waiter to place our orders. Gutom na din kasi ako. Last meal ko ata around 2 pm pa, eh anong oras na - past 7 pm na.

"So saan tayo after dito?", excited na tanong ni Cole.

"Gagala pa ba tayo? hahaha ok lang naman sakin if may gusto ka pang puntahan since sinamahan mo naman ako magsupermarket today." I told her.

I was planning to go here alone kanina but since Cole texted me saying she's bored and had nowhere to go after work, I asked her to come with me.

She's thinking deeply. Marami pa yata syang energy kaya gustong-gusto nyang maggala.

"Mag beer nalang siguro tayo pampatulog lang. What do you think?"

I chuckled and said "So paano dala natin tong pinamili ko? hahaha tamang tama ipulutan nalang natin tong hotdog dito, no?"

Tumawa sya na malakas. May mga nagtinginan pa samin sa Yabu dahil sa lakas ng tawa nya. Nahiya tuloy sya bigla.

"Drop muna natin sa bahay nyo yang groceries mo tapos Grab nalang tayo papunta kung saan man para di ka na magdrive pauwi"

I was okay with the idea so I agreed with her offer.

Our order came and parehas na kaming gutom so we finished eating din in about 15 minutes.

We went home after.

9 pm
Sa isang bar and restaurant around BGC

We ordered one bucket ng pilsen and cheesy fries and nachos for pulutan. Ayos din yung playlist dito saktong chill lang talaga. Hindi rin naman masyadong maraming tao kasi nga Monday night.

Cole and I were busy talking about random topics when someone approached us.

"Hi, is that you, Aya?"

Hindi ako nagkakamali. His face is very familiar. Kahit hindi maayos ang lighting dito sa bar, alam na alam ko ang features ng mukha at hubog ng katawan nya. He hasn't changed a bit.

"Hi, Jer. Yes, it's me. Sinong kasama mo dito?"

I smiled a bit trying to be cool even though I felt uncomfortable talking to my one and only ex-boyfriend.

"Friends lang, nandun kami oh sa table na yun." turo nya kung nasan yung mga kasama nya, their table is about 5-6 tables away from us tapos nag-hi yung tatlong kasama nya.

"Do you want to join us?", he added.

"No, thank you, we're fine naman here. Si Cole nga pala, you remember?" Cole waved and smiled awkwardly.

"Yes, of course, hi Cole!", he smiled back.

"I'll get back to them. You let me know if you need anything or if you changed your mind about joining us. I hope I could see you more often"

"Sure, bye!", I responded shortly as I really wanted to get out of the conversation na.

As soon as he walked away, I obviously saw Cole's mood change.

"Tangina non? Ang kapal ng apog lumapit pa dito? May mukha pa pala syang ihaharap pagkatapos ng ginawa nya sayo?", g na g na naman tong kaibigan ko.

"Pabayaan mo na. Feeling nya siguro sobrang pogi nya at sya lang ang lalaki sa mundo.", I was laughing when I said that, matagal naman na akong nakamove on sa pang gagago nya sakin. We separated in good terms naman kahit he cheated on me.

"Hindi din kita maintindihan bakit mo pa yan kinakausap eh ako nga di naman ako yung ex-girlfriend pero gusto ko syang sapakin", nanggigil pa din sya.

"Although I had all the evidence back then, never naman syang umamin, we broke up in good terms naman and wala naman akong mapapala kapag nakipagtalo pa ako sa kanya dahil ang liit ng utak nyan. So I chose peace and masaya naman ako sa desisyon ko.", I answered hoping she will calm down soon.

"Haynako, Aya. Hindi ko alam san nanggagaling yang kabaitan mo. pwede ka nang sub ni Mama Mary sa sobrang linis ng puso mo", atleast she's calmer now.

Thankfully, Cole just decided to laugh about it and move on. We instead opted to discussing more important matters like our career and our personal lives.

We are now up to our last bottle as I decide to check my phone.

Nagulat ako when I checked our group chat and saw na nagsend pala ng picture si Cole doon. It was when Jer said hi to us. Nakakaloka kasi I looked happy pa sa picture, napaisip tuloy ako kung magaling ba ako mangplastic kasi hindi halatang hindi ako masaya kanina nung kausap ko sya.

Stacy: Hoy bat kayo magkasama at bakit nandyan yang dimunyu na yan?

Joann: hala ang daya. no invite.

Shee: THE ACIDITY???!!!!

Gwenn: Kasama nyo si Jer??? WHYYY?

Mal: What is the meaning of this?

Joann: Uy bat di kayo nagrereply, bat nyo kasama yang panget na yan???

Mal: Ayaaa???

*Mica seen lang*

Ate ko, walang response si Cole. Hindi sya sumagot, e kanina pa yon. Nakatulog nalang din yung girls nang hindi nasasagot yung tanong nila. So I responded:

"Sorry girls, biglaang labas lang namin ni Cole after work. Nag-hi lang si jer we were on the same bar pero hindi naman namin sya kasama. Chill lang kayo. Goodnight!"

Cole was laughing as she admitted she also got caught up on our conversation and that's why she forgot to reply na din.

It was a great night. I sent a dm to Cole letting her know na nakauwi na ko and she responded din na she is in bed na. We exchanged a couple of chats pa before I bid goodnight.

A thought came into my mind as i am trying to make myself fall asleep. I miss mica. I miss her in times likes this.

I tweeted on X, "i miss you".

After scrolling IG for a couple of minutes, I dozed off na din.

8 am of the next day

"Oh my god!", I blurted as soon as I woke up. I am going to be late. My work starts at 9, so I have to hurry up. Bakit hindi ko ba kasi narinig yung alarm?

I scrolled my phone to check my emails before driving to work just for me to be reminded of my tasks that day. I noticed the notifications from our gc, they are teasing me sa tweet ko last night.

"Ang tanga mo, Aya." bulong ko sa sarili ko as I realized why I tweeted that. Pinatapang ata ako ng beer last night.

I hurried to check our group chat and lalo pa akong nainis when they thought it was for Jer.

"Miss naman pala si ex"
"Kakanta na ba ko ng muling ibalik?"

So anong irereply ko ngayon dito?
Tangina naman.

I decided not to reply muna kasi nga malalate na ko from work so I drove as fast as I can. also, hindi ko rin naman anong sasabihin ko.
