As Fraya walked down the hallway of the school, hand in hand with Eli, she couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her. She had been in love with Eli for as long as she could remember, and even though they had their fair share of fights and breakups, she couldn't imagine her life without him.
But as they passed by a group of students, Fraya's eyes locked with those of Kol, Eli's enemy. He was leaning against the vending machines but his gaze was fixed on her.
Fraya felt a shiver run down her spine as she took in his brown eyes and chiseled jawline.
She quickly looked away, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of knowing he had affected her.
Eli, however, had noticed the exchange and immediately tensed up.
Kol's face turning red he was furious.
Kol just smirked, his eyes never leaving Fraya. Heyyy Buddyyy..., he said putting his arm around Eli.
Fraya couldn't deny the curiosity that was bubbling up inside of her. She had never really talked to Kol before, and she couldn't help but wonder what was going on behind those mysterious eyes.
As the days passed, Fraya found herself running into Kol more and more often. He would always greet her with a smirk and a flirtatious comment, and Fraya found herself looking forward to their encounters. She knew she should stay away from him, but she couldn't help but be drawn to him.
