Camila was born into a clan in the desert. This clan is well known for being dangerous, however they are very caring and kind to each other. Until they get hungry, that is. If they don't have anything to eat, they choose a random person from the clan to eat (they just steal a body part from them).
One time, Camila was chosen. They took out her heart and cooked it in front of her while she was still conscious. They did heart surgery on her by an experienced doctor in the clan, then later, she was forced to eat her own heart. So yeah. She was able to leave with the support of a former member of the clan, fortunately.
Eventually, she's able to get revenge by coming back to her clan and killing most of them.
