In front of us was a magnificent mirror, as high as the ceiling with an ornate gold frame, standing on two clawed feet. There was an inscription carved around the top: Erised stra ebru oyt ube carfu oyt on wobsi.

Harry moved nearer to the mirror and stepped in front of it. He clapped his hand to his mouth. Then he turned around and back to the mirror. Harry was now so close to the mirror that his nose was nearly touching the mirror.

He looked as if he was filled with joy, but also a terrible sadness at the same time.

"Harry, is everything-" I started but he ignored me.

"Mum?" he whispered. "Dad?"

I sat down on the floor as I realized that he was looking at his family, empathy for the boy swimming through me. Even though he was very annoying, I've always felt sorry for him for not having a proper family.

I sat there for ages looking at the boy, finally falling asleep after what felt like hours.

"Jules, wake up, we've got to go back." Harry said as he gently woke me up and pulled me up. I rubbed my eyes and was wide awake.

"Harry, are you alright?" I asked as we started walking back. I was genuinely worried about him.

"Yeah" he shortly answered, avoiding my gaze.

"You know that you can talk to me" I said, not being convinced by his answer.

"How sweet of you!" he said with a smirk on his face. "You really do care about me, don't you?"

"We really can't have a normal conversation, can we?" I asked while rolling my eyes.

"Nah" he said "but we just held hands for the second time, so that's a normal thing now."

"Potter, I'm warning you." I hissed as we arrived in the dormitory.

"Sweet dreams about me" Harry said as we both got into bed.

"Good night, Potter." I said while rolling my eyes.

                                         🤍

"You could have woken me up." said Ron, crossing his arms like a toddler the next day at breakfast.

"You can come tonight, I'm going back" Harry answered. "I want to show you the mirror"

I sat there in silence, eating my porridge, not joining the conversation. I had a bad feeling about the mirror and was debating wether I should tell Harry or not.

"I'd like to see your mum and dad." Ron said eagerly.

"And I want to see all your family, all the Weasley's, you'll be able to show me your brothers and everyone." Harry answered.

"You can see them any old time" said Ron. "You two should come round my house this sunmer. Anyway, maybe it only shows dead people. Shame about not finding Flamel, though. Have some bacon or something, why aren't you eating anything?"

I looked at Harry. He looked as if there were thousands of things bothering him.

"Are you all right?" said Ron "You look odd."

"Harry, you shouldn't go back to the mirror tonight" I blurted out.

"What? Why?" he asked looking angry.

"It's just that" I started.

"It's just what?" Harry answered.

"I don't know, I just think that that mirror's no good."

"But I saw my family in that mirror!" he argued.

"Exactly." I said. "I'm obviously very happy you got to see them, but no ordinary mirror could've done that."

"Well, I'm going back" Harry stubbornly said.

Harry, Ron and I spent most of the day in the common, but Harry was hardly talking. It was worrying me. Normally he doesn't shut up.

It was getting darker and darker when around 10 p.m, Harry finally spoke up.

"Let's go" he said as he showed us the Invisibility Cloak.

"Harry, are you sure you want to do this?" I asked.

"Yes." he said "If you got a problem with that, you can stay here."

"No, it's alright" I said as I went over to then and Harry pulled  the Cloak over the three of us.
