She had just completed a hectic week of exams and was eager to turn in her final paper to her professor. But as she hurriedly made her way to campus, she accidentally bumped into a tall, dark-haired man who was also hurrying. Lesley trembled at the sound of his voice. With that, the encounter transformed from an embarrassing accident into an intense and fiery staring contest. The man spoke again, his face betraying no emotion as he stared at her with his dark, piercing eyes. "You have to learn to watch where you're going, little one" he mumbled, turning and leaving Lesley gasping for breath.
As Lesley watched him walk away, she was left speechless. She was too shocked to even apologize for the mess she had caused. Known for his fierce, heartless attitude and arrogant demeanour, Killian was not the kind of person Lesley wanted to cross paths with.
